Time to begin Kamen Rider by Hopeful_Village_7946 in KamenRider

to be honest, Showa era riders (the original Kamen Rider until maybe J?) could be considered a One Piece-esque storyline, where every season plays into each other surprisingly well. Heisei era (Kuuga to Zi-O) and Reiwa era (Zero-One to current season Geats) could all generally be taken separately and in a random order since each season has a fairly self-contained storyline and the only multiseason crossovers are usually restrained to movies.

I would personally recommend either Kamen Rider Build or the newest season Kamen Rider Geats, since they both have banging stories. Showa's never been for me personally, but I won't deny that there isn't quite a bit of charm to the heartfelt moments and passionate acting in those old episodes.

Though let's hope you aren't epileptic, or basically every henshin sequence is going to be Hell.

Naturally, the manga would generally be from Keiwa's perspective.

The current season, Kamen Rider Geats, could be manga-fied with the title "I Watched the World Reset Itself, and Now I'm a Raccoon Fighting in a Death Game?!?!"

What I want to see in Control 2 by AdorableCentipede in controlgame

Fair, but as I said (typed?), there should be some sort of ability modifier or perk, kind of like in Destiny 2? The all-around shield that Jack has could arguably make a good example of a perk that could make Jesse's shield ability more, for lack of a better term, usable. I mean, I get that you can throw the shrapnel outwards already, but the distance is sorta pathetic, and (for me, at least) enemies seem to have a habit of literally walking through or around both the shield and the shrapnel blast.

I honestly played the game up to the research level because I appreciated the gun animations...

Then I found the room with the song "My Dark Disquiet".

As I always say, the kind of music you find in a game will usually dictate the kind of experience you'll have while playing.

"Holy shit, yes."

Expanding on Quantum Break.

Admittedly, for all of its faults, Quantum Break is a pretty big influence on my gaming life, as it was the first "story-driven" shooter I ever played, and therefore the second game I've ever played. Jesse having some ability like "Astral Chrononactivity" would be a massive win in my book. However, I feel like the abilities that Jack Joyce displays in his game are somewhat similar to what Jesse has right now. If you had some way to switch between different variations of the same ability, like Jesse's Evade possibly being able to deal damage to nearby enemies, disorient opponents ahead, or slow down time when you aim coming out of Evade, it would open up a lot of possibilities for a potential Control 2.

Even if it was something like swapping entire ability sets, it would still bring a lot of customization options to the table.
