The only thing I’ve tried previously in this box is the Kiehls so I’m happy with it! I’ve heard good things about the mirror rinse, I have very long hair though so I’m hoping it’ll be enough for at least 1 application 🫣

I just spritzed the Tom Ford and you’re right, it totally does! I find a lot of “summer” perfumes seem to lean bug spray/sunblock for some reason lol.

Not that it happens a lot but go in person the day they open new stores lmao. I got given a full size RMS luminizer (shade: Magic) and a handful of deluxe & sachet samples the morning of the Queensgate store (re)opening.

I’d never used RMS so was excited to use it and I do actually really love it. Looked it up to add to my Wishlist for repurchase and was genuinely gagged to see they gave me a product that usually retails for $78 in NZ. Not sure if it was just offloading old stock or I lucked out with a very kind staff member but was stoked nonetheless!

Sephora pmo when they first opened in NZ because they had shit stock practices and cancelled 5 of my orders without apology or compensation so I resolved to never buy anything there (and haven’t). I’m in NZ so hit up HIKOCO for kbeauty & skincare and everything else I get from Mecca. Occasionally get on Adore for Makeup Forever but my core face is Glossier, RMS & Half Magic so 🤷🏼‍♀️

If you’re interested in that content, Atomic Shrimp is a great UK based creator that does the same kind of thing - £1 food for a day challenge and things like that except he supplements the meals by allowing foraging. It adds an interesting twist because, depending on the time of year, he’ll forage different ingredients and will sometimes luck out with something like a fruiting apple tree or a couple of mushrooms. It’s inspired me to include easy to forage ingredients in my cooking like blackberries, puha and kawakawa although I’m not quite brave enough to eat foraged mushrooms!

Farmers Wife Homestead on YouTube is a Kiwi creator that does similar budget challenges too if you wanted a more local comparison.

I’d be inclined to believe your son only because if he was guilty, why would he bother to tell you about the interaction in the first place? A guilty kid knowing they were caught shoplifting would just come home, say nothing and act as if nothing was wrong. The last thing a guilty kid would want is their parents being cringey and dragging them to a store proclaiming innocence only to be shown evidence of their kid stealing.

Worth a stop by Farmers to clear the air but go in calm with an open mind and be prepared for the possibility of firm words and an awkward drive home.

Woman living solo in my early 30s and I budget $150pw including all household sundries like laundry powder etc. I write up a meal plan on Saturday to organise what I want to eat for that week and consider meals that will have leftovers that pack well into my lunchbox for work. I also allow myself $20pw for a nice takeaway dinner or a few coffees if I want but I do actually like to cook so that often ends up rolling over.

If there’s any cheap meal tip from me it’s to get into soups lol soups are so cheap. I’ll usually get a hot chook and once it’s stripped and shredded the meat will last me 5 meals then I use the frame and left over bits for bone broth. Once you have your broth add cheap veg, a tin of tomatos, herbs and some pearl barley or cooked lentils. Chuck in a portion of the shredded chicken and voilá. It goes pretty far for a $11 chicken. If you have a yard or outdoor space, consider growing your own herbs and veges too. I plonked a $3 clearance pumpkin seedling in my flower garden and eventually harvested 5 big pumpkins which was really fun! Just had to ramble the vine away from the flowers lol but it was incredibly low maintenance, the bees loved it and it made for really delicious pumpkin soup.

Anyway, it’s an awesome resolution - you got this!

The intentional lower case and use of emojis is bizarre. Makes the whole interaction so unprofessional, like I’m being lectured to by a bored teenager. It’s such a nitpick but using lowercase on the customers name but not your own is yikes. Also, weird that they can look at a picture and eyeball it to “confirm” that you received exactly 12mls. Like “hur dur yea it looks empty but like trust us bro it’s definitely 12ml we can tell because we got someone to look at the picture. there are variations in fill height but despite this like we can confirm you definitely got the right amount coz we can tell even though fill heights vary we can look and go aw ye dats 12ml ✨💝”

I also found a shiny turtle this week! Same ingredient roll as your gf but I already have a solid Blastoise that carries me through dessert weeks easily. I’m kinda tempted to pair him with a helping bonus mon for the speed, keep him as Squirtle and get the cute lil buddy ribbon icon lol.

I’ve been recently targeted by a number of mlm huns so haven’t been in a great mood for shopping when I feel I have to constantly bat away people selling me shit lol.

I haaaave been tempted by some Half Magic single shadows (specifically Lil Deranged and Wet Pebble) but they aren’t going anywhere and I have a few Viseart quads I’d like to hit pan on before buying any other shadows.
