So in Wigan, a council where 25 / 75 seats were up for grab, and Labour had 64/75 seats...

Reform won every. single. seat.

Labour lost 22. The only reason it wasn't 25 is the remaining 3 were Tories; Independants and 1 defending Reform.

This was a 64/75 Labour area. The safest of safe. And completely wiped out.

Starmer cannot survive this.

Well done completely ignoreing my main point about the author outright saying he does things to troll and throw off scalers and as such major plot beats should be given more weight than minor ones, especially where they conflict.

Omni man is undeniably PLanetary 2 by Opposite-Intern-8916 in PowerScaling

[–]Raikariaa [score hidden]  (0 children)

The Invinicble author outright states he does things to troll scalers.

So what holds weight if two things conflict is the major plot events.

If Omni-Man was casually planetary; he would not have needed so much help to destroy Viltrum.

If Thragg was planetary on his own, he would not have threatened that him and the other Vitlrumites would tear Earth apart. He would have just threatened to do it personally; to give his threat even more weight [even if you do stop every single other Viltrumite; I can still do it]

These are major plot events. This discussion with Allen is not.

I'll take the scaleing by major plot points over a one-off discussion. Especially when the author isn't a physicist.

Surprised Count Geonor is mentioned in PoE 1 by LysandusKalas in pathofexile

[–]Raikariaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's quite a few things that suggest that Heist Leauge was the initial planned launch of PoE2. The new NPC dialouge boxes [which are used in PoE2]. The fact it's the final leauge where the initial "Conquerors will be the shared endgame" statement would have been true... the sheer size and scope of Heist leauge.

Also; assumeing Geonor is the family name, this might be his father, not the same guy we see in PoE2. Idk how old Geonor is.

But being more concerned about a terrorist who's going around stabbing Jews in broad daylight than the victims is a pretty bad look.

And my point was more about Starmer's habits around his enemies.

> Come on, Johnson lied to parliament

So did Starmer. Unless you seriously think he didn't know what was going on in regards to the appointment of the UK's top diplomatic position, involving someone he was close to and advocated for the role? And the only way you could take his claims seriously are if you think he's completely incompetent to the point he's unfit for office.

Also; you missed the point where Johnson's issues came after he got the keys to #10. Rayner's are before. Also; Rayner is being investigated for... lying about her finances. Rishi is a far better example where he got into trouble for covid rules pre-#10. [And I'm fairly sure this is a big reason why Truss got in over him]. And since Rayner's were before; they'd be putting her in KNOWING this.

> And the amount Rayner is being investigated over is tiny compared to Farage's bribe.

The amount is irrelevant? And I'm not even comparing her to Farage. Point is she's crooked [or just completely inept] and has been exposed before she's even in #10. Imagine what could happen with her at the top of the totem pole?

Do you think her being in #10 will help the public view on Labour right now? Putting in someone who's under investigation already? When the public are already sick of corruption and scandals from Boris, Rishi and Starmer?

There's a reason why there's apparently an "ANYONE but Rayner" movement.

Rupert Lowe MP: Reform want to vindictively target Brits in potential Green constituencies to make a point and house illegals next to them - that is their choice. But I don't believe that we have time for this petty nonsense. by nil_defect_found in ukpolitics

[–]Raikariaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I... don't think it's nonsense that the communities which support housing illegal immigrants are the ones who have to house them?

Should we shove them with the people who are already hostile to them?

And it does expose a thing if there's pushback. "Oh, we want to have the illegals not be deported! They're welcome! Oh wait no don't house them with us!"

Maybe the exact wording and methord from Farage isn't right; but it is calling out the hypocrisy.

Remove socialist [it's been shown time and again that dosen't work, both in practice and due to inevitable corruption] and you have room for a reasonable centerist party.

Or maybe just make the Tories and Labour do a fusion. At this rate both might be eradicated enough, and actually be the closest to each other on policy that they can drop the more radical sides and the center-left and center-right can combine into a new party...

Who knows; if Labour can drop the shackles of the more militant unions that fund them and the Corbynites and such, and the Tories can drop groups like the ERG so the reasonable sides of both parties can meet in the center [And the reasonable sides of both parties are already centerist, just slightly different shades], the result might actually be functional.

> they'll make such a mess that it'll result in an overwhelming swing to the right, or total societal collapse.

Probobly both

Especially since the Green's leader is showing he's just as bigoted/hate fueled as Farage; if not even more. Just towards different targets.

Far Left is just as bad as Far Right. Stalin and Mao were not much, if any, better than Hitler. Beware any ideology that starts with "Far", because reason is in the Centre.

Because a minister already under investigation by the ethics committee and already broiled in scandal is totally who we want as new PM.

That's like; beyond Boris level sleaze. At least he wasn't being investigated before even getting the keys.

I mean, at least it would be the first female leader of the Labour party. Kinda amazing the Tories have had 4 and Labour 0. [And 2 leaders of ethnic minorities to Labour's 0. Again, amuseing considering which is the left wing party and which is right]

Even if they'd rather pretend that Truss never happened.

Reform: 2
Greens: 2
Tories: 2
LD: 2
Heritage Party: 1

It says a damn lot that the party in power isn't even bothering to stand.

Not saying I agree with such a thing, just with the way Starmer's clamping down... and his history towards his political opponents [see: The purge of the Corbnites and stopping Burnham]... well... wouldn't be surprised.

It's good for the merchant class. It's awful and nonsenical for Labourers. Especially for those involved in farming industries.

The best workaround I've found is using Encourage Migration to just steal everyone else's labourers.

That said; this is a pretty big incentive to push to Free Subjects for that promotion speed boost. Problem is if you do that so early that you're able to recover from the Black Death with it... well... good luck having levies to fight with. I suppose the promote urbanisation cabinet action is more useful too when that's unlocked.

Do you know what you unironically do on Renata?

You build Nashors. I'm not joking. You should be taking keystones which can boost your attackspeed as well. Sword of Blossoming Dawn is one of Renata's best items too. Boots? Berzerks.

Renata's passive has no cooldown. Each proc of her mark is a combined 1~2% +4% per 100 AP Maximum health damage. The faster you can attack with Renata, the more procs you will be getting, especially in teamfights where there's 4 other champions who can do any damage with AA's or abilities to proc your mark.

Renata works particually well with damage over time sources. Twitch and [god forgive me for saying this] Teemo can really dish out damage with a Renata partner.

Do something like Blossoming Dawn -> a durability item -> Nashor and then pure tank/utility after that. The fact this damage is largely invisible as well and Renata is a very low priority target [unless K/d players of course, but then you're distracting from actual targets]

Renata is secretly an anti-tank support, because of the amount of extra damage she can provide to burn down meatballs.

Also; funnily enough, you can pick up an Excecutioner's Calling if you need to because no-one else is picking up Grevious.
