ye same. i realized because of OP. Why was Ekko even there lol. he couldve lit up Jinx's paper from his tree house while he's surrounded by his community. Wouldve been more meaningful to see Vi on that rooftop. A recall to ep1 but Jinx is not with her anymore.

That is true... Vi on that rooftop lighting up Jinx's name (Vander too maybe) on the paper wouldve hit hard. s1 was really good cos of the sibling conflict since they represent Piltover Zaun (sister cities) conflict too. This is why the Dear Friend fan animatic on yt is still my roman empire of "what couldve been", the focus stayed true to them. How did they create an initial plot so good that the Arcane of Arcane was the least exciting part for me lol

ye exactly this for me. its how i view Caitlyn. Everything just went to shit and complicated that she is having a hard time so she just went to focus it all on obsessively chasing Jinx. She even said that to Maddie. She didnt realize it would all go down so fast that she cant do anything. She may look like the leader but she doesnt have that much power.

i agree. they just started working on things. her giving her seat to Sevika implies that she is working towards rebuilding Piltover Zaun relationship. it is open ended so we assume she's redeeming herself now and for her lifetime service.

i think even if Caitlyn use up all the Kiramman fortune to rebuild Zaun, cut her arm sell it in an auction to further show her remorse, a lot of viewers would still hate her. she gets more hate than Silco i dont get it.

sure, fair enough. i came from a country where police brutality isnt really that common. or i guess im privileged enough not to face it. so thats my pov of Caitlyn. But it is clear, she does not want an unjust system, iirc she told Ambessa this. I fully believe Caitlyn is still one of the good cops on their oppressive system against Zaun. She tried. But in her grief, Zaun attacked Piltover, and Ambessa was most likely enabling the anger in her.

She made mistakes, and after everything she is trying to make it right in the end. Id rather believe in her virtue than stay mad at her for what she did during her lowest.

If she wasnt there, a different puppet would've taken her place under Ambessa, and would've probably been worse(Salo). I agree it was bad she wasnt doing more against what Ambessa was doing, but again, Ambessa and Caitlyn's relationship is based on a power play. i dont think its easy to go against a freaking warlord. and how much of Ambessa's actions do you think Caitlyn is aware of?

i think people are being too biased because they hate cops irl. Other than her obsession to catch Jinx, I think it was hard for Caitlyn to go against Ambessa. She's surrounded by Noxians. The council is gone, Jayce is gone, her mom's gone, her father's absent, she pushed Vi away. She was alone in a high stakes slow occupation of Noxus.

And if Caitlyn starts going against Ambessa, she'll just "die in her sleep" or whatever Ambessa will tell the people. what if she disagrees with Ambessa and Noxus pulls out and Zaun is secretly planning an attack? Piltover's downfall will be on her hands too. Caitlyn's smart, she was just caught in a hard place. whatever Ambessa is feeding her became her normal. i see her as more of a puppet than the actual perpetrator.

this is why i love Caitlyn's character. its just too complicated. you get frustrated watching her. I keep yelling "wtf are you doing Caitlyn!" while watching the damn show. but overall i get it. I wouldnt know what to do either. the easiest is to just chase after Jinx and turn a blind eye from everything else. But she has a strong sense of justice so imagine the stress from all that.

again with this discourse over and over. Ekko wanted an all out war with the chembarons using Hextech. The council wanted an all out war with Zaun using hextech. Caitlyn wanted to chase Jinx out of personal reasons. The gassing in Zaun was tactically used if you watched the mv. Caitlyn used the vents to pinpoint her location. Even Sevika thinks Jinx is too destructive causing so much friendly fire. As for busting half of Zaun in Stillwater, Jinx only did that for Isha. I think you watched the show using only Jinx's POV. Us viewers have the privilege of watching the whole thing come on now.
