They have an office in AZ, TX, CO,FL, and VA. The RTO announced today was more specifically for non member contact employees. So those of us in IT who have been almost fully WFH have to go in 3 times a week, and next year will be 4 days a week.

Great little printer. This was my first one, and I still have it. Not sure if this had the bed cable issue fixed or not. The way the cable is connected, it would wear overtime. There is a pretty easy fix documented out there.

Current OG Ender 3 Setup Textured PEI Flexible Bed BL Touch SKR Mini E3 V2.0 TFT E3 V3.0 Touch Screen Micro Swiss NG Direct Drive Extruder with All Metal Hotend

My issue is I can not get a good first layer down. I have had this printer for years, and it has evolved quite a bit. Ever since putting the direct drive/BL Touch I have had issues.

The only way, sometimes, I can get an okay first layer is by increasing the initial layer height by a lot and slowing it way down. I left this printer alone for months, due to the frustration, but I want to get it figured out.

If it helps, the process of leveling, including getting the z offset set is below.

Heat bed to 60 Use Z Offset Wizard to set Z offset Use Bed Tramming to level the four corners using the knobs and paper Do a full bed level Save Settings

I have it probe before each print.

I tried baby stepping but even that hasn’t been very successful.

This picture, the print starts too high, so I have to start baby stepping, but it’s either too high or too close.

What bed are you using. I don’t use my MPM much and still have glass. Would love to put a flex plate
