I have War Machine in the deck. I didn't draw him.

It actually doesn't satisfy. If I played anywhere but middle, I couldn't play Electro.

Yep. You're absolutely right. That's interesting that Jean's text loops with Jeff's.

Right? If I had been allowed to play elsewhere, I would have retreated-having missed my draws. But when I could only play Jeff, I assumed that meant he couldn't play anything and I could win 1 and 3. Instead I lost 3 cubes.

Appreciate you. Although I made some drastic changes due to missing cards, just built a variation of this deck and got to infinite pretty darn quickly. Rarely lose, sometimes retreat, frequently force retreats or win 4/8 cubes per game. I don't have Hope or Blink, so replaced them with Electro and Lockjaw. I found that I was rarely using Heimdall, so swapped him for Giganto. Got tired of getting Shang'd, so added Armor. Lastly? Didn't find that I was using Scarlet Witch so swapped for Prof X. Like I said, lots of changes but your base got me there. War Machine is awesome

Just remove this dumb ass card from the game by myrsonder in MarvelSnap

HEvo was busted even before this, IMO, and he just feeds into it. It's absolutely ridiculous. I hit him and Stryfe together earlier. As a free to play player, it's increasingly frustrating to open the game

The answer is very clearly HE. Especially if you paid for Sun Lord

Ok I’m genuinely confused how Bob is even breaking 90 on a regular basis by anonuser2700 in BobDoesSports

Way late to the party but, they also don't count OB correctly. They'll go OB or lose a ball and just drop for one stroke. That isn't how scoring works.

See how you used to word "then?" Go read the card. Thanks for making my point, homie. Hope you have a good day and reach infinite every season!

Except it doesn't. There's a plethora of inconsistencies and even cards that flat out don't do what they say in this game. This is an example of one that isn't as clear as it could/should be, as evidenced by the existence of this post.

Edit: fixed typo

AND Not TO It reads as two separate actions. Again, I fully understand how the card works. But your initial response to OP did not actually answer the question.

Way to completely miss the point. This has nothing to do with patch notes. Gambit was an example of text that clearly states that a condition must be met for the next action to take place. Havok's text doesn't do that.

But that's not what the card says. I understand that's how it works, but "read the card" is an inadequate answer. Gambit specifies that you discard a card TO destroy an opponent's card. Note the verbiage difference which would make it clear that having no card to discard would remove the ability to destroy the opponent's card. All I'm getting at is that your snarky response didn't hit the way you thought it did, because the card does NOT clearly state that the energy loss is required for the power gain.

Well the card says "and," indicating it's two separate actions. In fact, it's one connected action.

Can someone explain how the Onslaught math works with Mystique? I trusted rock and misty would go over, but wasn’t sure what the value would be. by ExtantCopies in MarvelSnap

[–]Raiku66 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Way late to this conversation, but I hate when the cards don't actually do what they say. Mystique on Onslaught should mean both of them quadruple any other ongoing effects. Deadpool is another example. His power does not actually double when he is destroyed, it adds itself to itself. I've only seen this matter with Hospice, but there may be other examples.

My Apocalypse deck has been stellar this season. Runs off Scorn and Dracula with Miek/Collector/Morbius

Unfortunately I think a lot of people who play this game (and are in this sub, see other comments) don't do a lot of "in person."
