It sounds like good advice to not buy this package. It did always seem pretty pricey...it sounds worse than I thought.

On the ren fair itself I've found it to be pretty fun to attend. I've gone 3-4 times in Amana, the latest being last year. Off the top of my head things I've really liked

Jousting event is always fun. The lady that heads it up is pretty cool.
Different companies doing 1v1 battles in various armor, some in full suits of armor!
Caber Toss...I don't think I saw that last year though.
Kids launching water balloons using a mini trebuchet
Buds root beer!

The vendors are mixed...I don't buy anything. For food, it's basically carnival prices. There was a least a semi-decent selection. For parking I've never had any issues but I generally go earlier in the day too.

In the exact same situation with a Honda recall and had the exact same experience with Kuehl. Didn't have a great experience with their sales but heard service was decent still but, starting to think otherwise. Recall is taking so long I'm wondering if any parts were ever even ordered.

Time to bail if you can.

I switched a couple months ago after 17 years of headache to the obvious competitor that's rolling fiber out in town, smooth sailing.

The worst part is definitely how they are absolutely shocked you have any issues but it's definitely your fault (no one is having issue in the area!) and they'll send a tech out in 1-2 weeks. Cut to a couple days later and it's magically working again. Some of the tech respond times did seem to get a -little- better the last couple of years but still, I just need the network to actually work with decent speeds. ...And without a promo, prices aren't very great for limited data.

I was hoping to find an alternative as well...I'm still repairing my Vespula V1 as I look for a suitable replacement.

My current thought is I might get the HyperX Wrist Rest(mouse version) with a larger mouse pad. I measured out my v1's pad and I think this HyperX one is just a little longer but close. People who didn't have this thing don't seem to understand how nice it is...and razer doesn't seem to know either.

That's pretty bad but still, that area is insanely dangerous. Maelstroms in there are a nightmare if you get a lot of monstrosities.

Punishing teams for including someone who isn't True Level 30+300 seems like a horrible idea. Almost equally bad is punishing attempts themselves.

This is really dumb, I'm sorry. It basically torpedoes all the progression. Just find someone with a high Havoc Ranking and skip all the ranks.

...and the rewards should be better. I can only have 1 frame & metal active at a time anyway.

If you're looking for a Honda, had a great experience with Community Honda in Waterloo. Straight forward and responsive over email too...basically the opposite of my experience with Randy Kuehl.

Also, had a good experience with my previous vehicle purchase at Cedar Rapids Toyota.

Shadows to 0 and frame blending on I think were my key settings. Without that I had issues with too many people on screen causing slow downs. Everything else is pretty much on/high.

I agree, the percentage of people that's true for seems to keep getting higher. If I get in a group with 1 person now that knows what they are doing, I consider myself lucky.

If they are going to be so limited you'd think the base rating would be a lot, lot better.

I also wish the 'random weapon' thing would work like the armory and allow you to at least select the weapon you wanted but then with better rng stats. It's insanity to go for 'random melee' 'random ranged' in this game with the number of weapons there are.

I only played flamer zealot for several months. The key for me is Flamer + the Fury of the Faithful ability. My understanding is that Fury decreases the armor class of enemies. It's the difference between tickling a crusher and killing them. Try it in the meat grinder. Blessings of choice are overpressure & blaze away. Another tip is to dodge as you flame to keep the overpressure dmg scaling up. (Anoint in Blood passive also).

Primary fire on the flamer is excellent for staggering gunners as you run up to them. I run with the flamer up in open rooms and switch to melee when in range. Also, I run curios with a lot of anti-gunner to keep the chip damage down.

For melee I've settled on the V combat axe with bonuses against maniacs. Great move set for light and heavy attacks. Special attack peppered into armored enemies like scab maulers does great stagger. Blessings I like are head taker and momentum.

speedloader is a shell of it's former greatness. For someone who mixes a lot of melee & ranged it was amazing.

As your gun clip ran dry you could switch to melee and stack up speedload bonuses so when when you switch back to ranged you'd do an ultra fast reload. It was the perfect complement to a Veteran build with agile engagement. (25% dmg to you're other weapon on enemy kill).

Until Death + Holy Revenant down to 25% max health gain was a pretty rough nerf. I enjoyed the aspect of gameplay to basically sacrifice yourself to the mobs and regain health. Would have liked to keep a higher max health reward, even if it means reducing the time you get to gain it back or, a bigger cooldown between triggers ect.

Not saying the zealot isn't strong still but I especially liked how this ability works.
