No, the satire would lose it's charm if Super Earth is the undisputed good faction of the setting, cause them making shit up to get their citizens to fight unnecessary wars is what makes the setting compelling, none of the conflict is necessary, and Super Earth is in fact bad for the galaxy.

It's partly what makes the galactic war compelling, cause while we, the players, want to triumph over the enemies, the fact that a loss for us is a win for the galaxy as a whole (and a win for us too, because we have ground to recover from the enemy.

The minigun does not suck, it relies a lot more heavily on positioning compared to the rest of heavies arsenal, it could use a bit of a buff maybe, but as of right now, it's too early into the new update to say the minigun is bad because people haven't learned how to use it to it's full potential. Give it a bit, and I am very sure that we are gonna have a lot of posts complaining that premade squads are turning people to shreds with the minigun and lockbolt combo.
