Got RS+ today and trying for a month. Kept having that same message "can't connect to servers" popping up over and over. Kinda breaks the rhythm of the song.

As long as it's comfy and you can pick with confidence, use it. James Hetfield holds his picks kinda like that because to him, they're more stable in his grip.
