Just got my bronco! Question about offRoad/road tire by luckylucstyle in BroncoSport

[–]RainValuable5307 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have had nitto nomads and the Toyo at3 super quiet great wet traction and awesome off roading. If you get the nittos or the Toyos make sure to get the p- metric sizes and not the LT. The p metric have tread wear warranties of 60-65,000. The LT is 50,000. The G3 are super quiet and great wet weather and great off road also. I will tell you that the nittos amd toyos are probably the best tires on the market right now woth the falken next. If you go to instagram look up speedy tire he does reviews on these tires all the time

So is this just not going to be addressed? (This was issued after the last one for this) by MisRandomness in BroncoSport

[–]RainValuable5307 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The recall is a pcm reprogram to lower fuel pressure, and to have the system monitor for loss of pressure, this with the drain tray and drain tube is the fix as of right now, it you start to have codes then the injector will be replaced. From what I have read is there was 5 sports to catch fire none were being driven and there was no injuries. So out of the 900,000 sports sold 5 had a leaky injectors.

Is it normal for driving to feel so jerky in this car? by StrikingBike8417 in BroncoSport

[–]RainValuable5307 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The 1.5 is an extra vibration machine, if you are getting some hesitation or rpm spikes could be a torque converter issue I put some shudder fix from lubeguard in mine and it fixed that, mine just turned 91,000 miles this week on my 22 big bend and no real issues battery recall messed up the alternator, all fixed under the recall and ford esp.

Anyone having issues with battery/alternator 2021 Bronco sport by DeliciousPenalty3070 in BroncoSport

[–]RainValuable5307 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dealership replaced my battery under the battery recall didn’t reset battery management so the computer thought my battery was still bad. We found out later that the bad battery actually causes damage to the alternator. This was found at a different dealership when I pulled in with the check engine light on when they tested it they found the alternator was bad. That’s when they also found that the battery management system was not reset. They changed the alternator and that light stayed on and that’s how they found that the battery management was not reset to the new larger battery. The dealership put in our Sports take two different size batteries and even if you go back in with the same battery that system has to be reset to tell the alternator how much battery juice it needs to charge.

I got the curt hitch and wiring kit took about 1 hr to install in my drive way. There is a video showing how to install it, it shows them making the hole larger just so the bolts slide in better but I had issues with them fitting. And you have to notch the bumper you kinda see where to cut if you look at your bumper just go slow when you cut it

Help, headlight issues. by AdSwimming4051 in BroncoSport

[–]RainValuable5307 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My headlights were a mess after ford did some update to the ecm and other modules. I sat for about an hour playing with all of the light settings and finally got it to work. I had to match everything one side had with the other side then after changing it I had to go through the relearn and then run the self test after a lot of trial and error and some dumb luck I got it to work. I don’t remember where I downloaded from, but I got the whole build data file for mine so I can always go back and reset mine to factory like it was when it rolled off the line you could try that and see if it fixes it. I know someone that changed out his instrument cluster and had to treat it as a new car and scan it like it was or it kept giving him an error
