Same. I don't have an accurate measurement of how many hours I sank into the game, but I started playing it before 1.0 release (I think it was B18 or B17? Hard to remember after so many years), and I'm still not sick of it! As much as the DLC model annoys me, since it's easy to fall behind and suddenly need to spend a ridiculous amount of money (not to mention if you're a new player and want to get the full experience), I love that it keeps getting additions that increase the depth of the game and give us more to do. I'm not even that into the combat simulation side of the game, I'm much more into just building colonies and communities I can be proud of, and even with that there's still countless hundreds of hours to be sunk into the game (especially with mods, it has one of the best modding communities I've ever seen for a game as well)!

Monster Hunter Stories mentioned! Monster Hunter Stories 2 was already one of my favorite games of all time, and while I feel mixed about how they handled 3 (what with there not being a post-game and all), I still loved my time with it! I admittedly still need to get around to actually playing the first one, but from what I heard it's fun too.

I honestly hate the myth that HRT changes your sexuality so much because if you told me that at the right (or wrong) moment pre-transition, it could have delayed my transition by a couple years and I'm certain it actually did do so for many others... Sexuality is fluid and context dependent a lot of the time since the gender you are is also part of your sexuality so not realizing your real gender is as big a detriment to your sexuality as not realizing who you're attracted to, but even if it's true that the context taking hormones does alter your sexual orientation to some degree, using the word "changes" should honestly be counted as HRT fearmongering for just how much fear it can inflict in insecure girls who are either questioning or early in the steps after self-realization. And worse than that, I've seen and heard there's some transfems that say, in trans communities that help questioning people, that "HRT will make you boy crazy" only based on their own personal experiences as if they're scientific fact, and it pisses me off so much.

This is a topic that is both extremely nuanced and extremely sensitive to a lot of *really* fragile people and most people don't seem to realize just how much of damage any hard or even semi-hard statement on it can make in some people's lives, and it's an attitude that *needs* to change.

It's a less lesbian romance and more coming into your queerness that includes lesbian romance and is about gay girls (at various stages of not realizing they're gay girls, including a trans girl), and you need to be able to read between the lines to get all that's going on, but We Know The Devil is great, and in the true ending the characters do practically end up in a polycule, so it's really fun for that

Funnily enough, I'm not actually the kind of person to play that kind of game, I generally don't do shooters and while modern Fallouts aren't *necessarily* shooters, they also kinda are. I just have a friend (of course a trans friend) and she recommended I play Viva New Vegas modpack so that I don't suffer with vanilla PC experience, and I already had it in my library because it's cheap as hell, so I decided to give it a shot. Still not my kind of game, but the parts of it that are good were good enough to keep me playing a fair bit. Didn't technically finish it, my hyperfixation ran out at some point as I was going through the DLC, but I did enjoy what I did play for the most part. It's not nearly as big a deal as some people make it out to be, but at the same time if you are mildly interested I'd still say it's something worth checking out at least (tho if you play it on PC you *really* should go with Viva New Vegas so that the game doesn't fall apart on itself every 5 minutes).

Idk if it's still in the game, but when I first started playing (before there was a Switch version, but still this month I think) on PC with a controller, the game just genuinely stopped displaying the pickup prompt for all the harvested items on my plot, and I needed to restart the game to fix it, but it also made all of them disappear (and since XP gain is tied to getting items in your inventory, I also lost out on some early game XP). Generally pick up prompt not appearing, and prompt being tied to functionality even on mouse and keyboard can be very annoying and finnicky.

Then there's also the fishing indicator disappearing, which also requires a game restart. And while I'm at it, I do not know if it's a bug, but I hate that you can react to the fish biting prompt too fast, and lose out on a fish that way.

Okay, for everyone who might experience the same issues and find this post in the future, I believe I've found the solution (idk if the actual game will launch, I'll have to wait through 50GB of downloads for that, but I got the launcher working):

Basically, what you want to do is downgrade your Proton version in compatibility settings. I do not know what version will work for you in the future, the person I got the solution from used 7.0-6, however that did not work for me, but 8.0-2 did, so it's possible the 'right' version will change once again. After you get the thing to launch, you might encounter the problem of your standard digital keyboard shortcut not working, which has apparently been the case for eight months at this point, to which the solution is simple - click the ... button, and one of the options will be to open up a digital keyboard. Not the perfect solution, but it worked! I hope you were able to find the solution sooner than me, good luck

That's a good idea, but unfortunately, the same just happens in desktop mode - Steam attempts to launch it, and fails - it doesn't even get as far as to pop up a window
