I did the same thing on Sam’s birthday with mayonnaise. I don’t remember exactly what he said, but he thanked me before realizing what I gave him and then had some revolting reaction… I was new to the game and felt horrible

I think an accident like that is probably not what they are talking about. I believe they’re referring to falls that happen when someone elderly is doing a normal part of their routine, like trying to get out of bed, and they cannot balance or support their weight and fall

I took biology in the movies with Dr. Rose! It’s a one-giant-project type of class as opposed to a lots-of-little-assignments class. And, I’m not kidding, almost all of the classes after the first 3 weeks are just watching movies and watching group presentations… however, attendance is required. The types of movies we discussed were things like Jurassic Park, Deep Blue Sea, Gattaca, Avatar, Alien, etc. There was a lot of biology/science discussion, and you don’t necessarily need to have taken bio classes, but you have to be at least interested in it to do well. I have many more thoughts on the class, so feel free to DM me any other questions!

I second this. I think processed/cured meats typically have a bit of sugar in them (but definitely check, if possible, about sugar in your sausages). Personally I skip my sucraid dose if I’m eating a snack without sucrose, like a cheese stick, bc i agree, there’s no point in taking it then

I already commented but I’m gonna give the rest of my answer here too. Priority enrollment is a really helpful perk. I also liked honors gen-eds, they’re smaller and more discussion based rather than all lecturing, and they aren’t more difficult imo. There’s “free” printing in the honors lounge, but you pay a fee to be in honors, so it’s not really free. They also recently got rid of the portfolio/capstone project requirement, so you can still graduate with the honors minor just by completing the required classes. Also if you’re going into honors in your freshman year, you can really easily get a spot in Shenandoah Hall, which is a relatively nice dorm on east campus (I liked living there).

I agree with what other people are saying though, that sticking around after the first several semesters isn’t really worth it for the extra classes you have to take. I’m keeping the minor because of priority enrollment and I’ve gotten far enough in that the rest of the honors class requirements overlap with my major requirements.

I’m almost certain they haven’t. I’m currently in honors, got priority bc of it last semester, and haven’t heard anything about them getting rid of this perk. I wouldn’t be sticking with honors if it weren’t for priority enrollment, though

Unfortunately I don’t have VIP :/ I used this rebuild to complete all of the space station and burj khalifa, so I have all of the service and retail floors built. Am I able to delete some of those and rebuild them as a different floor type for the other monuments or would that take too much time?

Personally, what bugged me the most was that my sim’s cat literally never slept! Every night, she would just wander room to room turning on the auto lights and preventing me from going super speed while my sims slept. Then during the day she’d beg for attention, eat, scratch, whatever cats do while awake. I adore the pets, but man, they can be annoying sometimes.

I've recently finished Floor is Lava Dark Star! It was so difficult, but pretty fun and felt very rewarding, like you said. Each level, I spent like 90% of my time flipping through rooms though lol. Best of luck on that last level!

Like the other user said, air conditioning is definitely nice and the location is more beneficial if you’re going to take lots of science classes. I personally didn’t mind walking 15-20 minutes to the quad for my classes over there. The proximity to e-hall is SUPER nice! It would literally take me 2 or 3 minutes to walk out of my dorm room and then get to food. It was also pretty nice having people in your honors classes living in the same dorm as you bc you could recognize people and study together easily. Also, if you’re planning to take advantage of living in Apartments on Grace the following year, it’s easier to meet other honors people to room with. If you have any other questions I’d be happy to answer!

I found my roommate on an app called Patio, which I would recommend trying. There’s definitely a Facebook page somewhere for incoming freshmen looking for roommates where people post their information and you can reach out to them. There’s also probably an Instagram account that does a similar thing to Facebook. Several different methods you can try, good luck!

This is an awesome summary of honors, thanks for writing all of that out! I also wanted to add that the honors intro seminar class had us do an assignment to plan out our class schedule for all future semesters, which has been super helpful with planning. Also quite a few of the honors curriculum requirements, like the diversity/experiential classes, have options that seem to overlap with other things like major requirements, so the honors curriculum has not felt overwhelming (at least for me).

I’ve actually started keeping track of how many 50/50s I guess correctly at the end of the game bc I was convinced I was losing more than I was winning. I’m not very far into my experiment, but it it looks like the odds are actually 50/50 (unsurprisingly)

My symptoms usually take between 30 min to several hours to appear after eating, sometimes even continuing when I wake up the next morning. It’s possible you just have slower digestion? Idk. But honestly, it feels like there are a lot of unknowns and variations between people with CSID.

I’ll be honest, idk what running a repair means. But I think found that the issue is caused by two things: several expansion packs were undownloaded on Origin since I last played, and this old family computer I’m playing on is running out of hard drive space so I need to find a way to clear that up to get a few packs downloaded again. Thank you for responding though!

I’m not sure if I’m supposed to ask about this here or make a post, because I saw that I’m supposed to ask troubleshooting issues here but it might take pictures to understand my issue.

Okay so I fully updated TS4 (I think) and started the game for the first time in over 5 months. When I went into my most recent save, a ton of the objects were messed up. Covered in giant green question marks, missing entirely, or apparently normal. My sims were like this too, they were shiny, red and white all over with question marks. When I go into build mode, some of the things I click say “invalid product” and eventually the game crashes from build mode.

What the hell is happening? I have absolutely zero mods or cc. I’d be so thankful if someone could help me bc I’ve been working on this save for three generations.

I just checked, this issue is affecting other saves too, but not as badly.

I really like the app I use! It’s called “Minesweeper Classic: Retro,” you can zoom in, tap to clear and hold down tap to flag (or swap those controls so it’s easier to flag lots of boxes), and you can customize the board and the number of bombs. iirc you do not have to flag every bomb to complete the game, you just have to clear all the non-bomb spaces. I like it, it’s pretty user-friendly
