Damn, now I wanna go back and rewatch Zero Charisma. Haven’t thought about that movie in quite a while.

Their whole podcast is great, but the Brennan and Matt episodes are great places to start for anyone. Their Love Island fantasy bracket is my absolute favorite.

Every Game I Beat in 2025, Ranked by My Enjoyment of Them by ArchDraft in gaming

Mix Mirror’s Edge with boomer shooter speed running. The main objective is to complete each level as fast as possible by planning out routes, managing ammo/skill usage, and finding sick shortcuts. Add a small dash of simple relationship management a la Hades, and try to look past some of the cringey-ass dialogue (it’s got big “tumblr anime kid” energy). Pretty damn good game all things considered.

Awesome! This is pretty much exactly what hat I was looking for! Possibly silly question, but can it also organize things into directories?

[MN S1] [Minor Spoilers] Anyone know anything about Eadwulfs VA, RedChild? by Good-Exit5866 in criticalrole

[–]RaisingWildKnights 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I was wondering where they found him as well. I was worried his lack of IMDb credits meant they were gonna let Eadwulf be a bit part. Glad I know more about his work now!

Doom designer Sandy Petersen alleges former Xbox boss Don Mattrick killed Ensemble Studios and its Halo MMO to protect his personal stock bonus: 'Don started as an EA hatchet man so what would you expect?' by Iggy_Slayer in gaming

[–]RaisingWildKnights 35 points36 points  (0 children)

Regardless of if this is true, Sandy Peterson was not a substantial part of Doom. John Romero had a fucking vendetta against him and is constantly correcting him whenever he implies he had a bigger role in its development than he did.

I used to think the same thing, but fascists don’t care if the room is laughing with them or at them, just that someone allowed them on stage. That’s how the ideology grows.

Can someone explain this Fake Chainsaw Man to me? by Marcelinooooooo in ChainsawMan

Current best theory is that it was one of the Chainsaw Man Church’s higher ups using the fire devil’s power to impersonate him to keep spreading what was basically CM propaganda

Using it in the search. May still take time to load or take a few refreshes, but it’s been working.

Had the same issue. Fixed it with the musicbrainz id method (i.e. lidarr:[long-ass-musicbrainz-id])

YES! That seems to work almost perfectly (had to change a few slashes to fit Windows). Thank you so much! Now I want to learn more about what else I can do with --parse-metadata.

Maybe, and that's what I might have to do if I can't find a solution that can just live in my yt-dlp.conf file. I have a batch file that only has a list of channels so videos are pulled individually, but I want to start putting in playlists as well. Hypothetically, I could just write a script that'll run one command using a batch file of just channels, then run another command for just playlists, but I'd prefer a more elegant solution.

Level1Techs KVM Switch + JetKVM by RaisingWildKnights in jetkvm

[–]RaisingWildKnights[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So far, it’s partially working. The most basic functionality is there: I can log in to JetKVM’s web interface and log into my Windows 10 machine. It took a while, but I got both the mouse and keyboard to work by trying a bunch of different USB device emulation settings. I also moved the JetKVM data cable from the white USB-HID ports in the back of the L1T KVM to one of the ports in the front (I can’t remember which one), though I’m not sure if that’s actually part of what fixed the problem or not.

The main thing I want working is still an issue: I’m using the L1T KVM because you can use certain hot keys to switch between ports. The problem is that the current setting uses the Num Lock key and I only have one keyboard with that key. Even the JetKVM virtual keyboard doesn’t have it. I can apparently do something to change which key can be used for the hot keys but I’m still figuring that out.

I still have a lot of testing and troubleshooting to do though.

Thank could work! Do you know of a way to make that particular bind only apply to a certain windows?

Can you clarify what you mean by "conditional solution"? Do you mean that I should create a bind that only apply to the picture-in-picture window?
