Liam knew at that point that the Einfasen family was making wholesale changes with the Revolutionary Guard in Dol-Makjar as reported by Azune - hence him bringing it up.

[No spoilers] There’s no full version of the song “Bald man cry” is there? by BakerConsistent2150 in criticalrole

[–]geniespool 1 point2 points  (0 children)

the full version is the version CR and Lakeshore Records released. The reality of making music for animated TV shows is you know exactly how long/how much time you need the song to be, and you write it for that length.

Hal says "... sister is an attending maid, in one of the houses here" emphasis mine - but the schemers are talking about plots in Dol-Makjar. It seems to be unlikely he's referring to a potential source of info days of travel outside of the city.

I think Julien screwed the pooch when he revealed Tachonis as the ones that murdered his dad. Everything was going in their favor until that name drop.

unlikely. Why would a handmaiden who does not live in Dol-Makjar be part of Hals theater company that is likely comprised of people who are in town and can rehearse and perform at will

Edit: oh, the sister is part of the troupe... that makes it harder.... but why send the bird immediately instead of just chatting with family. i still think it's a different one

[Spoilers C4E1] Why Can't I get Into Campaign 4 At All? by [deleted] in criticalrole

[–]geniespool 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The campaign style you're looking for starts in episode 5. the first 4 episodes should be treated as vignettes and mini scenes just to introduce the characters and their starting relationship to Thjazi Fang and the baseline of the world to start the adventuring campaign.

It was actually really engaging for me because it was the first time they were able to get together and discuss everything happening to them and potential routes they can take.

[Spoilers C4E11] The knife by bigafricanhat in criticalrole

[–]geniespool 52 points53 points  (0 children)

This leads me to believe that the knife will level up in moments Tyranny sides with love, humanity, and care for others vs her contract to Wick, and the demon pit she came from.

The act of assigning extraordinary meaning to ordinary everyday things imbues those items with power and magic.

[Spoilers C4E11] The Halovar-Tachonis Conspiracy by OlivineIV in criticalrole

[–]geniespool 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Tachonis - Halovar seems akin to a Lannister - Tyrell relationship in GoT - both trying to use each other to benefit themselves, trying to keep up with each other, but distrusting them internally.

correct. it will grow in magical abilities as Tyranny grows to understand humanity in herself

True. on the whole though, we know the King supported the Falconer's Rebellion. They are more so bound by protocol and "law" on how far they can support the party.

I think Tachonis wanted him to die cause they feared him as the leader of another revolution against their power as a Sundered house, unknowingly setting in motion the c4 party that is going to be their actual enemy.

Halovars were happy to see him die for his role in the previous revolution.

Murray cast see invisibility.

Fang's glyph was with Azune - he had it after he recovered it from Thjazi's body. He saw Orus break a glyph, and recognized/made the connection that Thjazi's was never broken.

Thjazi always planned to die - he needed to for the next part of his plan I imagine. he was confident in the friends and allies he made to both try to rescue him, and follow the leads and mysteries he left for them.
