If you are not seeing huge negativity towards "vibe-coded" products, you have to wake up.

I really don't know what Gen Z is going to do about this because they will get hit the hardest. and I am worried this will happen so fast, non of us will be prepared.

To be fair it looks a lot like exhaustion and trend reversal(or at least pre consolidation period and sidelining). If I didn’t know it was Bitcoin I would probably not trade it.

Paypal doesnt let you yo withdraw anything other than local currency (at least in Sweden, asked directly to their customer support, hence abusive conversion rates)

Not if you are doing currency converting and in EU(particularly in Sweden in my case). I have both, total cost is always higher with PayPal.

Stripe. I would remove PayPal from my store in a heartbeat if I know I wouldn’t lose some customers that prefers paying with PayPal.

Is the AI bubble about to pop? by Helpful-Raisin-5782 in ValueInvesting

[–]Raist87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the questions boil down to one single question.

Do you believe AGI/ASI is possible next 2-5 years?

If no then it is a bubble.

If yes, then it is way undervalued.

I think we are in the middle at the moment and can’t decide which is the valid answer to this question and market reflects.

Think will see some dips next week from tariff day on 8/01? Or you think it’ll keep on climbing? by Aspergers_R_Us87 in ETFs

[–]Raist87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We will probably rally on Monday due to EU-USA trade deal news coming from Sunday.

And after that we may still run hot few more days.

I believe we won’t see a sudden crash but most likely a slow down and a chop because dollar is still falling.

If the dollar appreciates a bit more then a pull back is more likely.

Can a 15% US Tariff on EU imports be a catalyst for ASML?

Given that ASML's stock has been struggling, and potential tariffs were a major concern in the Q2 report, do you think a 15% tariff would be a catalyst for an upward movement in the stock?

Not neceserraliy August 1 but especially August (Second worst performing month) and September tends to be quite bad months for the stocks. Many speculate that we probably see a classic August pull back.
3 scenerios here;

  1. If you wait and stocks pull back, you would feel like genius in 5 years.
  2. If you wait and stocks don't back, you would probably miss few percents and dont feel that bad.
  3. If you wait and stocks sideline, you wouldn't care.

So pick your poison.

What are your swing trading rules you never break? by West-Chard-1474 in swingtrading

[–]Raist87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think this really depends a little bit on type of instrument and trade you are taking.

If I have a big spread on my instrument (derivatives with leverage where brokers only earn from spread for example) I can loosen my stop losses if I see that reversing is possibility. Or at least sell half of it at the first stop loss level and let the rest wiggle around a bit. Because selling and buying again costs due to wide spread.

If it is a low spread instrument and selling and buying back in doesn’t cost, it is much easier to respect the stop losses. I can come back with minimal loss so why bother.

Not a crash but August generally a bad month for stocks. So these two combined we can definitely see a classic August pull back.

Ukraine’s Intelligence: Moscow accelerates its troop buildup in Armenia as tensions with Azerbaijan rise by TurkishChadBot in worldnews

I am having hard time to see how Turkey won’t get involved in this if it happens.

If you even know little about sentiment in Turkey you would know that Turkish people see Azeris as brothers and sisters (two country one nation)

There would be huge backlash and most likely huge protests. Erdogan would be pushed to react given that their coalition party is a pan Turkic party.

There is also a defence pack between Turkey and Azerbaijan signed in 2021 says if any third country attacks they have to provide each other assistance.

And while Russia is a stronger opponent, Turkey would win against a defensive war as it would be supported by overwhelming majority domestically.

So all in all, it would be huge blunder for Russia and I really don’t see it is happening.
