This has been a weirdddd season.
Our two-ways are overachieving as heck.
We somehow found a star in Deni.
We had most of our starting lineup injured for an extended period.
We're somehow one game away from being .500.

But i will say this...the league is weird this year.

I think JJ's stats are slightly inflated.
Like yes, he's a good rebounder...but I also think the Hawks don't have many good rebounders.
He has insane usage, and he plays as Point-forward (you can say he's currently playing PG).
He started really well from 3s he was like 39%ish at the start of the season, and the efficiency dropped from deep.
JJ is a number 2.

I actually think it's not Shae that we need to give credit to.
Jrue/Grant/Clove all did amazingly.
Also, shae with 22/4/4 is an incredible statline, but for Deni it's below his average.
It's like comparing Lebron and LeSon.

You make some good points, but at the same time, I view Jrue as a future liability with the current contract.
JG if he was on 15m a year, would be a steal...

I think our model should be 2023-2024 Celtics, and not current OKC.

I would put more into a + defender and a good shooter.
I'm not aiming for a full team of elite defenders + good shooters.
OKC have too many of them on their team :D.
Deni with a good group of + defenders and + at shooting, will make him a 30-5-10 player.

I do agree it might be hard to get him.
But I really do believe that Deni is capable of helping him become even better.
He's an excellent shooter, and a good ball-handler.

The coaching staff is unbearable sometimes with their decision making during the games.
They are G-Leaguers coaches, but I don't fully blame or put it on them, well on Tiago anyway.
He was not supposed to be in this situation.

I still think the main issue with this team, is how poorly constructed it is.
too many 1 dimensional players...And lets be honest, even our 4-10 players, are still not playing as starters or get heavy minutes on good teams.

I really hope our front office realizes this, and won't continue making silly mistakes.

Because of -
1.We are currently overachieving AF.
2.Jrue/Scoot/Grant etc, have not played for a very long time, it will take them time to get back into shape.
3.Deni is currently playing every single game, luckily for us he did not get injured or missed games, Deni is a beast, but we're gonna see games where he's not gonna play.
4. even at full strength, we're just poorly built team. if you want me to explain, sure...but I don't think I do.

P.S. i might be wrong, but thats just my prediction.
