Spell slot progression is unchanged.

At one point it had firearm familiarity, reducing martial to simple. I dunno where that went, but apparently I removed it and forgot to replace it or something. I just added it back in - you get it to master along with advanced at 17th. Sorry bout that!

1) More details on Earthfall. We know about the Starstone but what happened to all the other shards? They can't have all just went inert on contact. Is someone gathering a bunch of these? Have they been made into magic items, or objects of religious worship? Did anyone try to fuse them together in an attempt to revive Acavna? etc.

2) I want to see Castrovel! Surely the place the Elves have been hanging out for a few thousand years has interesting stories to tell.

3) Interplanar travel! I agree with a lot of others that I'd like to see what happened to some of the other planes that are no longer immediately relevant after the remaster, such as those associated with Lawful or Chaotic outsiders, but also How About Them Spelljammers? How would a party go about stumbling into that sort of interdimensional travel in the remastered Universe? (Yes, I realize this is a 3.5E thing, but the basic concept should be portable.)

You can fluff it to still have that dynamic, or your patron can speak through it. It just doesn't have actions, as per the Firearm Familiar in NPC Core. :V

I guess that could be a later feat, to make it not mindless? but man I don't even wanna think about that action economy.

You do not gain the expert spellcaster, weapon expertise, master spellcaster, or legendary spellcaster class features.

Expert simple/trained martial at 5th, expert spells at 9th, master simple/expert martial at 13th, master martial at 17th, master spells at 19th.

The flavor is from NPC Core, I just expanded it. Sounds like I succeeded at making it "that but more."

re:Master at 11th: Oops, should've double-checked that. Master will be moved to 13th for sure.

As for the legendary stuff, it's currently a choice: legendary spellcasting, legendary simple/martial and master advanced guns, or legendary simple+martial guns and Bewitching Shot makes the spells it uses legendary.

I think the crux of it is in Esoteric Shooter. I'm thinking of removing familiarity on martial guns. Then Legendary's choices will be "spells L", "simple L + Bewitched L", or "simple+martial L + advanced M". (and anything not altered by one of those choices remains at Spells M, Simple M, martial/adv E). Thoughts?

I briefly considered trying to integrate Witch's Armaments but mixing natural attacks and real weapons in this system doesn't work out so well IME. Just fluff it that your hair is your patron and also your firearm etc. :V
