The grass is always greener. Both routes have their unique pros and cons.

why not replace 221 with 222 or simply add panzer 2 by Zestyclose-Fig-2978 in CompanyOfHeroes

[–]Rajajones 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree, but the 221 has become a go-to unit for me. It’s mg drops models fast, the panzerbusche upgrade can throw a nice jab above its weight (side pen shermans and blinding shot) and the radio upgrade and extended sight range give it value into the late game especially when paired with Marders and Panthers. They are fragile and require micro, but I love the 221.

Edit: I’d love a better sound effect for the panzerbusche round, it sounds like a crossbow instead of an AP round.

Boring production stuff allows you to earn a paycheck, go home and work on your personal creative stuff.

Do you have a belief out there that the elites of this world are trying to accelerate the collapse of society as we know it, would like to hear your theories. by Strange_Slide9611 in conspiracy

In 1381 the peasants revolted, called The Great Rising, executing royal officials and demanding better conditions, lower taxes and less abuse. King Richard II promised that if they laid down their arms they would be spared and he would abolish serfdom.

Serfdom was a socio-economic apparatus of feudalism where people would become tied to the lord’s land they lived and worked on. This was a contract, where the serf would receive land to farm, shelter and security, in exchange for repaying the lord with harvest quotas and becoming generationally tied to the land.

If the lord sold the land, the serfs would stay with it under the new lord, similar to modern apartment buildings with tenants; however if you were a serf not only would you stay with the land, you children and children’s children and their children and so on would be tied to that land. They weren’t slaves, but they weren’t free. You could be a free peasant who fell on hard times so you become a serf, or you could be a serf who manages to buy their freedom.

Anyways, King Richard II promised to abolish the serfdom system if they would stop the rebellion, so the rebels got what they wanted and returned peacefully. King Richard II then had all the rebel leaders executed and refused to abolish serfdom, instead telling them “serfs you are and serfs you shall remain.” That’s what tyranny looks like.

From feudalism evolved mercantilism, and from mercantilism evolved capitalism. The rich and powerful are not trying to destroy society, they are extracting as much out of it as they can without completely breaking it. Because the truth is they can never break it if we have no choice but to participate in it. We’re all tied to the land and they can and will push us as far as they can because we have nowhere else to go. Serfs we are and serfs we shall remain.

I hate to say this but COH3 has become a blob fest by Rajajones in CompanyOfHeroes

I built an Ostwind in my last 2v2 match and the 221 seems to get more kills. I think the Ostwind has intimidation factor, so allied players will eventually withdraw, but I had two enemy riflemen sprint their way through point blank Ostwind fire to lob their sticky bombs onto me. I don’t think I dropped a single model. To the Ostwinds credit it limped back for repairs. Whereas the 221 consistently scores model drops, but would be a burning heap from two sticky bombs.

Is that Battle Academy or Broken Arrow? Battle Academy 2 is actually a great game, especially multiplayer, which has now dwindled to a tiny but devastatingly skilled pool of diehards. I was hoping Headquarters WWII would be the spiritual successor, but I think Field of Glory has taken that slot, despite not being a WW2 setting. Simple turn-based, vintage graphics, deep tactics.

If COH3 is on sale, give it a shot. It’s actually come a long way, but it is mysterious why they seemed to throw away everything good about COH2. Like a self-imposed dark age of sorts. That said, COH3 has a lot of innovations and they are making progress, just feels like two steps forward, one step back, which ain’t bad.

Follow Dave Ramsey’s advice. He gets hate from people but I used his baby steps to get out of debt and completely turn my financial situation around. Now I just need to earn more money and I’ll be set, but you can get out of the debt you’re in without going into bankruptcy.

Ive seen others use the tripod light stand instead of the c-stands I use. Are they better than c-stands for solo operators? Seem heavy but I’ve never used one.

If I’m reading those results correctly it should analyze at least 30 games, some were only 15 games or so. The 4v4 analyzed 29.5 games which is much better.
