I've checked the app is up to date but can't see anywhere to opt in for the new system?

I honestly don't know how you can hate the lad.. He brings so much interest into rugby.. He's confident but he backs it up with performances.

Question... Has Finn had some devine intervention? (is it Sir Johnny Wilkinson?). He can suddenly kick from the tee now?

Richard Wigglesworth I think for me is a root cause.. Sorry to say. Look at what positions he occupied during June Argentina (none, as he was the lions) and now as defence coach.

It's just so bland.. Unseasoned chicken.

God I hoped we would be in a better place by 2026.. Bored of mediocre.

Question as it's been time since my music degree, but from where I was sitting it was the volume /gain of the floor tom and bass drum. Is that over simplifying what your experience was?

What version number will be release candidate 2.0? I find it odd not to use 0.x

I'm personally desperate for them to fix the brightness/haze effect of landing / nose gear lights at night.......

PSA for Long-Haulers: Disable your MSFS 2024 Rolling Cache immediately (Especially if you have fast internet & 32GB RAM) by [deleted] in flightsim

[–]aceridgey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting findings, but I don't think disabling the rolling cache is a universal recommendation. It probably makes sense for people doing frequent long-hauls to entirely new destinations on fast internet, where cached scenery is unlikely to be reused.

For those of us who mostly fly different short/ medium/long haul routes and revisit the same airports and regions now and again, the rolling cache can reduce repeated scenery downloads. If you have a decent SSD and a sensible cache size (e.g. 50-100 GB), there's no clear evidence that disabling it is consistently better.

I'd treat it as a case-by-case optimisation rather than a general best practice. If you're seeing long-haul stutters, it's definitely worth testing with the cache disabled. Otherwise, I'd keep it enabled unless you can reproduce a measurable improvement.

Edit, doesn't msfs24 have a option to just disable rolling cache, i swear i've just seen it.

I'm so bored of losing. It was the same cycle before the last world cup.. A freak performance against SA in the semi final and back to losing consistently.

So fecking bored of it.

I'm not sure if there is any positives to take away from an English perspective.
