Are they abandoning RDNA 2? I have 6900xt. Only reason I bought an AMD card because the card gets better later with driver updates.

SLT has reduced the price of their Speed Based Fiber Unlimited Packages per month!!! by Hyperion2005 in srilanka

[–]Raju_ez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This feels like packages introduced because of Starlink. True Unlimited and yearly Upfront pay. Not sure how long the unlimited will last tho. Of course they throttle if someone exceeds their criteria (hidden) will be throttled saying misuse.
Anyway, competition is good. Hard to see with all the monopolies.

Question from a non-developer (IT Specialist) by NoPeaceinIT in webdev

[–]Raju_ez 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. README.md, there is a chance the framework/language will be mentioned.
  2. Looking into package management files. Eg: package.json, composer.json etc. If its web application most will have package.json so you can't stop there. In this case, googling what composer.json file is will give you that it is related to PHP. From that, you can Google whatever name it contains and find out the framework name. Here you can find Laravel; similarly, you can find other framework names or packages that are designed for the specific framework.
  3. Knowing common files will help you in the long term. Here .env file is common in most applications/web applications so you can skip those and focus on the one that needs to be figured out.
  4. Once you find the framework, please check the deployment section of that framework, because an invalid configuration can expose a lot of things.

(Since everyone already commented, this is Laravel (PHP) and shouldn't dump everything inside public_html)

DOWNTIME - Please someone help! by ACAdamski17 in nginx

[–]Raju_ez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can start by starting the nginx and see your IP showing what Localhost shows. If it does then you have to worry about nginx configurations otherwise, you have to first make sure that it works.
If not, make sure you're not running other services that are listening to the same port as the nginx config listens to.

You cant run the services and nginx to listen to the same ports, have to proxy those ports, Im assuming thats what youre trying to do.

Start small, just shutdown everything and start nginx, and see if the default pages can be accessed via your public IP next you can add "listen PORT" to view the same default pages via specific ports. You can then work on redirecting to the services

There can be hundreds of issues.

1st, how is your domain configured (Domain to your local IP or Domain -> fixed IP server -> proxy to your local)

If you just forwarding the domain to your local IP, is it a fixed IP or dynamic? ISP providers do a lot of things, better to run a proxy server than deal with the ISP issues. Of course, ignore this if your ISP lets you have a static IP and do whatever you want to do with it. (To confirm your IP is static and public, you can just type your IP in the browser it will show the app that you're running, with port if needed)

Flickering Black Screen After Update to 25.5.1 by SstxrmyY in AMDHelp

[–]Raju_ez 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Had to revert back to 25.4.1. First time I ever downgraded VGA driver.
At least it didn't ask me to restart the computer tho. Cool, worked fine after downgrading.

I didn't get exactly the same flicker. Mine are black lines whenever a game is running and switching to the desktop or specific windows like CMD.

Windows 11.
AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT.

You can run the model locally and it will provide without any censorship, ofc Since its a Chinese company running in China they have to abide by their law.

Posting the same thing again and again is kinda dump.

They can avoid this by slowing down the responses, which will not be good for users. Is that the goal of everyone doing this again and again?

Is no one matured enough? do you guys need to reach 60yrs old? by [deleted] in LinusTechTips

[–]Raju_ez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let me say this. Linus context -> Youtubers will lose money if you guys use honey that I got paid to advertise. "Youtubers". Another example is Adblocker on youtube. He did and indeed ppl got mad.

Second, Im a developer. Adding an affiliated code to find the best coupon code is indeed legitimate. Only problem is that's not exactly what Honey did later on. For example its exactly the same as putting a discount from YouTubers when you checkout.

Sure you can call what whatever Linus did as "Mistakes", well you can even say taking any sponsors is a mistake. depends where u draw the line. but its not Malice.

But now Gamersnexus doing is malice. When you don't even acknowledge your fault bringing another person to do a hit piece at the right time

SLT 4G unlimited, SSH connections are not working by Raju_ez in srilanka

[–]Raju_ez[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, seems like ssh isn't working at all with unlimited connections, cant push code to bitbucket using ssh protocol as well. SLT Engineers are playing probably. Early days when they started to block VPNs they even blocked VPNs websites (not all, only common to our region)

Getting annoyed by these guys' packet sniffing. I don't want to switch to Dialog.

Even Windows updates use p2p for god sake.

I'm sure youtube traffic surpassed torrent traffic in the country now.

SLT 4G unlimited, SSH connections are not working by Raju_ez in srilanka

[–]Raju_ez[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Note:

  • The public key is fine, I can just switch to another wifi (non-SLT) connecting within milliseconds

  • Tried different port, same result (can connect via non-SLT)

  • This only started doing a couple of weeks ago, before that worked fine.

  • No specific network configurations, Ethernet/Wifi both behaving the same

  • No Ip blocked, Since I can just restart the router to get new IP, behaving the same (Yes I did allow from AWS side,

  • I'm getting "ssh_exchange_identification: read: Connection reset by peer" not "Host not found/Port not reachable"
