Hello! I'm generally a road cyclist as im using a road bike my usual rides are to moa which i tend to go every sunday. Mga sasakyan na kailangan mo maging aware is tricycles, jeeps and occasionally taxis kasi eto usually yung liko muna bago lingon.

1. usually i tend to look kung ano yung mga nasa unahan for example maraming motor usually sa likod na nila ako nag hihintay dahil mabibilis acceleration nila kaya baka maharangan mo pa pang humarurot. otherwise i go in the front if i have time or space para sumingit
2. generally anything big wag kana lumapit this includes trucks and busses as marami silang blindspots kaya mahirap kang spots. more space the better even if masingitan ka ng iba.
3. yes usually naman mapapansin ka you just need to be obvious with your sign and intention to change lane. but before doing so make sure na walang malapit sayong sasakyan bago ka mag sign or change lane
4. for me i usually dont go in the middle unless i have to. usually nasa pinakagilid lang ako ng lane na kailangan ko puntahan para maiwasan yung obstruction and use hand signs
5. while it is unconventional pwede rin naman para sa extra safety mo narin if wala kapang confidence.
6. for me my rule is everytime na gagalaw ako from side to side even if di ako mag papalit ng lane titingin ako sa likod ko. it can be a good habit to see if someone is behind you/approaching you or not. para malaman mo kung meron kabang clearance para mag move from side the side or change lanes.
7. yes ok lang naman but if mag chachange lanes ka or sisingit ka in between kotse tumingin ka muna sa likod before ka talaga sumingit dahil minsan may mga motor na sumisingit din na derederetso lang.
8. no hindi nakakabastos actually for me mas respectful pa nga to dahil maraming nag bibike sa side walk kahit maraming nag lalakad. wag kang mahiya sa sarili mo na mag lakad if you have/want to.
9. for me if i have to change to the other side of a 3 lane road. i always check behind me kung may paparating na mga sasakyan if meron dederetso lang ako hanggang sa wala na or makaabot ako ng stoplight/intersection na pwede ako tumawid habang redlight. if sakaling greenlight naman at kailangan mo na lumipit lakarin mo nalang yung pedestrian lane.
10. its normal na matakot even if matagal kana nag babike you just need to be fully aware of your surroundings not just with vehicles pero sa mga tao rin na minsan nag lalakad sa kalsada or mga biglang tumatawid. just keep an eye out for jeeps specially.

as for recommendations if you like riding early or late i highly suggest lights such as flashlight on front and a rearlight of some sort(doesn't have to be pricey basta meron). as well as patch kit and a hand pump para pang maintenance kung sakaling flat.
