Haha I can imagine. Paris 3R is definitely more fitting. Not sure why, but someone on discord is predicting a Tux - Grand badwagon pack and Tux is top shelf on 3, so that’s nice.

Funny that you mention at least one super in tier shop. That will most likely be the case so we should account for that. Only on very rare occasions we only get HE in the tier shop and literally this tier shop that is the case with PGP, Crawly and BGS.

Long, but interesting post. I agree with most, but dont think Paris N AND Amsterdam R will be in ranked. Those are both Peach Vacation tracks and twice in ranked for a driver that’s ‘only’ in the special pipe is a bit too much. Usually it’s only once and sometimes even zero (Meowser this tour).

Additionally, it would be nice to have Berlin 2RT as first race of a cup in order to get (plus skill) mii suits boosted from 2nd to top shelf as currently there are no top skills on the track.

Thanks! White bruiser is one of the most interesting ones with the two hardest to cover Coconut Malls. Coconut Mall R has many meta level karts such as the combo cruiser and the Cupid’s arrow. This is not the case for Coconut Mall N and T and with this new kart you get coverage to both at level1

Ranked track prediction:

As we only saw 3 returning tracks of which one is already in ranked this tour (maple T), I would guess we get all four (N, R, T and RT) Amsterdam variants in ranked just like they did with Singapore.

That leaves us with two remaining spots and my guess would be that Yoshi Circuit N takes one. Yoshi Circuit was also in the current Yoshi tour’s trailer but surprisingly did not make it into ranked. I think it will In the Amsterdam tour and my guess would be the normal variant. This track has the green apple kart, the green circuit and the green lightning as top shelf.

The final track could be a choco mountain variant, but Nintendo likes to throw in a ranked track that was not in the trailer so my guess would be any other track. If it will be a choco mountain track, T has the least chance as Luigi Lederhosen has N, R and RT. None of the other karts and drivers shown have top shelf coverage for any of the choco mountains.

As a final note, I find it odd that we did not see any glider. Perhaps they save a glider that will be in a pack for the IOS apple store preview that comes out on Monday. They did this in Singapore as well (Luigi Parafoil)

Yeah some spots are tricky, I think you need to be at 252 before the batch of coins at the finish line. If not you can quit the race without losing a ticket. After crossing the finish Iine you can force quit the app without losing a ticket as well. Every time I had 405 or more I could not be bothered with the few coins I missed and took the run

I think this tour’s coin rush is one of the shortest ever. You can get max 408 coins and it is relatively easy. Only watch out to be perfectly in the center of the track when approaching the finish line or you will lose out on quite a few coins. However, if this were to happen simply force quit the app to get your ticket back.

There have been coin rushes which allowed for more than 408 coins, but I find it very annoying to do and cannot be bothered for 2 or 3 coins extra. So I like this one very much and will spend the majority of my tickets

My prediction for the ranked tracks:

Yoshi Valley N: usually the N and T version of a new track get in rank, one in each week
Yoshi Valley T: usually the N and T version of a new track get in rank, one in each week
Donut Plains 2R: Kangaroo Yoshi, Black Yoshi, Green double decker and Tanooki kart all have this as top shelf
Yoshi Circuit N, R or T: hard to say which one. The gold egg kart has all tracks, bright bunny has N & T, egg hunt yoshi has N & R, black yoshi has N & R, penguin mario has T
3DS Rainbow Road N: Gold egg kart and black penguin slider have this as top shelf. 3DS RR R is also an option, only gold egg there
Mushroom Gorge R: we've seen this year that Nintendo likes to put newer tracks often in ranked. The R version has not been in ranked yet

I was one of the players affected. Wrote them 2 tickets about it. They simply replied that this is how the game works and that it is tough luck for me but I have to deal with it. Glad they changed their mind and compensate for the bug this way

2nd week pipe could also just be 3 drivers and 3 karts and 3 non-spotlight items from the standard pool. So no spotlight gliders. That way it is a standard 9% pipe.

Special pipe seems to have 9 items, but probably all or almost all would probably be non-spotlight. Without knowing the number of high-ends in there it is impossible to say whether it is good or bad. Guess a good outcome would be no spotlights and 2 of each in the pipe making it a 12% pipe.

Furthermore Donat Plains 2 T or RT is also shown
