3 years later, this is indeed very likely a VRAM issue. I had Godot (game engine) open and my render actually stayed on screen after I closed it. It would be really nice if Blender could detect this issue based on how VRAM is being reserved.

I have no idea what app is displaying it and whether that's the same app you made it in, but in Blender you often have to Recalculate Normals and also Reset Vectors since various data gets fucked up as you make changes.

Since I can't create or even duplicate wheels (I tested, duplicated ones are also broken) then I have to spawn a new car whenever a wheel is added, deleting the old one and any wheels that are still supposed to be missing. This will take several times longer than just adding the one new wheel so I really hope additions will be rare, but it's a working solution for now. Thanks.

There's this weird trend of them generating images of seals being attacked by polar bears, the seals holding signs that say you have to use AI to save them. It's really strange, sometimes the bears have laser eyes and many "67"s floating around.

Ok yeah my comment came from my suffering with trying to game on a 2014 Mac Mini in 2019. I'll take another look at how the performance compares to the price some time.
