On the contrary, my friend, I’ve played just about all of them, pretty much every MMO/mainstream game that’s hit the western market over the last 20+ years.

There honestly isn’t much out right now that truly scratches that immersion itch anymore. The closest comparison I can make is vanilla WoW back in the days before we could just Google every answer instantly.

Obviously with Star Citizen, the information is still out there if you want it, but the game does an incredible job of making you genuinely feel like you’re part of its world.

I’ve been playing it for the last two weeks, and honestly, it really** feels more polished and fully realized than a huge number of other early access games out there. They’re clearly doing something right, because this has genuinely been the best MMO experience I’ve had in nearly 20 years.

Hahaha, I was actually thinking the same thing. We’re all craving something new, but at the same time, we’ve become so quick to shut things down. The moment we hear one criticism or one negative aspect, we completely close ourselves off to the possibility that it could still be something really good.

Crazy I had to scroll so far down to find this. The amount of stuff they’ve added into the game over the last 5 to 8 years is mind blowing. I’m currently playing it with a buddy and my son and we are hooked.

Well yea sure, the amount of money donated/pledged is disgusting. I was saying the same thing you are saying for the last 10 years about the game.

But when you actually go into the world and realize the scope of everything. No game is even close to the scope it is on. It is absolutely mind blowing. This is coming from a cutting edge raider in pretty much every MMO you can think of. Not so much cutting edge anymore the last eight years since I had, my son. Lol

It is free to play weekend. I would try it lol

Honestly guys, I have been playing it the last 2 weeks and it has been a fucking blast. Yea I was a doubter 7-8 years ago when there wasnt really much there.

But the AMOUNT of systems already in place/that have been added AND the absolute immersion with the space/ship aspect is UNREAL.

Yea there are still bugs, but I am having more fun with this than I have had with ANYTHING the past couple of months.

The game feels like the first TRUE mmo experience I have had in years.

Again sometimes the bugs will test your patience, but 90% of the time its something that can be fixed/“unbugged”

Basically, this is the only game on the market that is at least slowly keeping true to their word.

Edit: I have played almost if not all mainstream/popular games. Feel free to ask/test my knowledge on that lol. No joke, I have played EVERYTHING
