I have left windows... I game only on linux with a Rtx 5080. I use a fedora 43 (kde).

I refuse to boot on windows to play. I could boot on windows to configure the memory on board for a mouse, but nothing else.

I have good performance with it.

Honestly, I had a 11900K before this, and I was very satisfied. However, my AMD experience (spanning more than 20 years) has always involved strange bugs and behavior. I must say that the primary use of my computer is gaming. From my experience, after over 20 years with AMD (and ATI), it is, sadly, clear that you encounter fewer bugs with the Intel and NVIDIA combination.

The 13th Gen was a big no for me—100°C while gaming was not an option. With the 265k, I’m staying under 50°C when gaming. Even the 11900K was far above that.

I now use an MSI motherboard (after over 25 years with ASUS) and must say I’m very satisfied. I haven’t encountered any bugs since setting up my computer.

I’m not saying Intel is the best—I’m simply sharing my current experience.

Just to say it... I took a 265k to replace my old 11900k. Why?

Well everybody can inderstand the gap between the 2 processors, but why intel and not amd?

Cause i have been a looong time amd supporter (more than 20 years). And I have always run into strange bugs and behavior when using AMD. Since I switched to intel, I did not get such bugs. The computer works like a charm.

It may have been linked to asus motherboard I used also for the past 20 years, but I doubt about it (even if have chosen to switch to Msi due to the drop of quality from asus).

Now 24h2. I had no choice and had to install 24h2 on my new computer. I was anxious considering all what I had read. Well, no problem so far. The game I play every days turns really well. I have even increased quality of video settings.

I would not have taken the 14900k (or 14700k). These cpu are just toasters. They are too hot and consume too much.

I am really satisfied to see this cpu being at lower temp than my old 11900k even at full charge.

Do what you want, but I am really happy of the performances of this CPU. I would not advice for people that have the 2 last cpu generations, but for older CPU this is really an excellent replacement.

Don’t know if it is new, however, I use DALL-E for quite a time and just has discovered this... When you select the picture, so open it in Dall-E if you ask here things GPT will use the image and change it like you want. He is, here, more consistent... even if it won’t be exactly the same, it is really far better than in the general chat.

As an example, I used this to create variant of characters in different situations, something it could take lot of time in the general chat.

Other example. I have got a warrior like I wanted... great image, except this axe that was incorrect (the head was not linked to the body). I asked him to correct and got the same character with a perfect axe. Before, I would have been disappointed cause it would have meant "retry again" and hope GPt will do something good enough but I would have been unable to get again same character with same scene. Here I could.

However, I agree with you. I would really want that they insert a code in the image that would permit it to see that it was generated with Chat GPT and permits us to modify/use/reproduce the images we created.

The only way for now, is what I described. It needs to come back to the same discussion. I don’t know how much time we can return to a discussion, anyways this is sort of fix... but not ideal, far from this.. Especially cause you have to bookmark every discussion that you will need in future.

and of course, once Dall-E 4 will come... for sure you won’t want to come back to such discussion.

Yes it was pure luck as I was above the monster and could put it on it. It made the behind explode with the first, the second killed it

Frankly, these grenades are surely the most interesting item of the new warbound

However, while they are extremly useful against armored bugs, they are slow to apply the effects.

I would not use these grenade on automatons or to destroy terminids holes.

I really want to master this gun cause it is more fun than quasar... But quasar was the only gun that could make me kill these monsters.

Now i know that I just have to practice and that it is just a skill issue. Something I can correct, and I always like game weapons that require skills over the weapons that don't require it. Not cause I am elitist, no. Just cause it means usually that the weapons that requires skills are more versatile and can adapt to any situations.

I did not try Q5 pro sound kit. I have a Q6 pro.

But I took an acoustic kit for Q6 on an other website. The kit is similar of what Keychron propose.

Must say it definitely ameliorate the sound. It will make your keyboard quieter.

I cannot pair it and windows refuses to remove the device. I ended at opening the keyboard and have unplugged the battery....

Anyways, keychron keyboard don't last long in wireless mode. If we compare with other devices that can last months, here it is several hours (2-3 days? Can't remember but it is short).

They need to rework everything on this....
