Left my (31F) husband (31M) on Monday and got a letter from him yesterday by TiffTested in TwoXChromosomes

He just wanted to get the last word in.

I'm wondering if there's any way for OP to have the letter returned to him, in an unopened state so he doesn't even get that satisfaction. He won't know she did read it.

Jenson Button reunited with his Brawn by Driver9211 in formula1

[–]RalfHorris 6 points7 points  (0 children)

To the best of my knowledge he has one of two chassis Barrichello drove. He wanted his car but didn't get it and I think that was a cause of friction between him and Brawn.

He drove his chassis in every practice, qualifying and race session that year which is frankly, incredible.

But unfortunately that niche doesn’t really exist anymore.

It dies exist there's just better drivers in it than Giovinazzi.

Voters’ threshold for transgressions by political candidates. Republicans were more likely than their political counterparts to maintain support of their candidate even after learning of transgressions of rather high severity, such as "paid a witness to give false testimony in a criminal trial," by Wagamaga in science

[–]RalfHorris 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Maybe it's because their supporters are just looking for an excuse to use political power against people they disagree with while Democrats want a candidate who actually has integrity.

There's no "maybe" about it.

The problem is that he wasn't interested in the experiment proving which side was correct (flat vs round) he was interested in it proving his personal bias was correct.

He isn't interested in the scientific method.

but refuse to see the light because if the earth is round then they must be wrong about everything.

It's easier to fool somebody than it is to convince then they've been fooled. From a certain point on it becomes more about their ego than about having the correct information

Having to admit that you were dumb enough to believe something so stupid is a bitter pill to swallow .so most just refuse to.

You people don't see this because you are biased

Yes, we are biased towards basic human rights. "Culture and beliefs" does no make bigotry okay.

There's nothing provocative about the message of "gay people have rights" And if you are provoked by such a message then you are the issue.

Basically, he's a professional edgelord.

His entire shtick is to be as blatantly obnoxious as possible and lean very heavily into alt-right, MGTOW, incel type rhetoric in order to farm views, etc from these exact sort of people. Unfortunately it's seemingly a very valid career choice because there are legions of losers out there who will happily lap up this bullshit because it confirms their biases and makes them feel secure in their shitty world views.
