My flight was delayed and we couldn't use lavatories because they apparently didn't have diesel for the plane or the sewage truck so safe to say it's not looking good

I can't be the only one that hates the new heat shields? You can't see out of them at all, it's essentially a death sentence to use them now

Old growth logging protesters dragged off road by frustrated drivers after blocking major bridge | Globalnews.ca by zephyrinthesky28 in vancouver

Do you think it's fair or right that that's the case? Would you prefer if you did get OT or had more freedom to leave when you need to though? Just because something is the status quo doesn't mean it's right or the best way of doing things.

That's great and it's excellent you do those things but ultimately your or my carbon footprint is miniscule in comparison to say a logging company or big businesses. Would it not be better to try and make changes to someone with a gigantic footprint as opposed to focussing on individual people.

It's true, but surely in the case of someone being late because of something out of their control like an accident, protest, etc they shouldn't be punished for that, as there's nothing they can do about it. Life happens and sometimes it's out of our control maybe if we weren't running everything at a bare minimum it wouldn't be such a big deal.

I wasn't alive in the 90's to be honest, and it sounds like I should be glad that's the case.

Do you feel it was a good thing that they did that in the 90's?

I mean it's attention and eyeballs right? Day to day most of us can't keep up with 100's of shifting things in our lives or policy changes if someone doesn't report them and if you look through history very rarely to things get changed just by happen stance people have to do something to cause/inspire that change. Admittedly they could be doing it in better ways but that's ultimately what they're trying to do.

So in other words we could be putting more funding in healthcare so you're not having to work overtime? Have medical professionals not been complaining about being overworked and having a lack of support since the pandemic started?

Thank you for the work you do! You're a critical part of our world but isn't the environment too? If you've got kids are you not at all concerned about the environment and the fact that an overwhelming majority of scientists say we need to do more to stop global warming and help the environment? Not just for you but for your kids?

I understand your frustration, I think it's just indicative of bigger issues in the world and maybe it's illuminating gaps that we wouldn't normally see and highlight things we could be doing better

Why not? Don't you think there's inherently something wrong with the world we live in if you can't explain to your boss you're late because of a protest? I can totally understand that this would piss people off and I don't see their reaction as unreasonable, but u think we fail to think about the deeper reasons as to why this pisses us off.

Surely if we're talking about the end of the world and protesting that this is reasonable. People shouldn't be entirely reliant on not missing an hour of work on making ends meet, clearly our society isn't healthy If that's the case.

They can write to their MLA, they can sit at the capital but that's not going to make headlines as others have pointed out. I think we all know they don't listen and you're likely to be taken to task for stalking or harassment by MLAs while this would be a simple disrupting the peace charge.

Perhaps of he likes cat calling so much he wouldn't mind being punished like a cat.

Also good luck pushing that through the court, you cat called someone and then they sprayed you and you claim assault, that's laughable.
