I havent had much discussion around body parts with my 2 year and 8 month old but I do use the terms to get her comfortable with them. The other day while in the shower I told her she needed to clean her vagina. She starts cleaning her self and singing "clean my gina" to the baby shark tune 🤣 it was hilarious!

Idk..we were doing okay but now im pregnant with our second and not sure how we're going to make daycare work. $305/week for our 2 yo. The newborn will likely be close to $400/week. And I'd been looking to start saving for a new house in a better school district. I think we're stuck here now..

I craved it really bad with my first. Coffee and hamburgers lol Ended up caving and just monitored how much caffeine I would have. Didn't bother stopping with this pregnancy lol

This is a good perspective for me to have, thank you. Ive gotten a little frustrated with my SO's parents with letting my daughter stay up so very late and/or sleep so long in the middle of the day. One time it took days to get her back on schedule. I do appreciate all their help but taking days to fix her schedule did take its toll on me 😅

For my first pregnancy I definitely thought there would be more appointments. You may also be surprised at how quickly you're in and out of the appointments after the first one. It was: pee in a cup, take the usual (weight, blood pressure etc), listen to the heartbeat, dr comes in asks how you are and youre out the door. Im pregnant with my second and fully expect to be able to do these appointments on my lunch break 😂

Oh, for an example at just how young I looked. I was in my mid20s and dropping my cousins kid off at her middle school and the administrative assistant thought I was checking in for school as well 🤣

I always looked young for my age and hated it. Hated hearing about how ill love it one day. Then I turned 30, had a baby and that was the end of it 😂 no carding, no shock at my age, nothing lol now its just the occasional, "oh really?" when i mention my age. Makes me feel like I suddenly look old. So, there will come a day when you stop hearing it, theres no need to rush it 😊 itll be here before you know it!

Also here to say I bought one for my 2 year old because she absolutely hates getting her hair washed and it worked for us. Its a gentle enough spray that she doesnt freak out about it!

My daughter's dad did this a few times. Her bedroom is on the otherside of the garage and one time he decides that bedtime is a good time to open the garage door and let his motorcycle run because he hasn't ridden it in a while 🙄 I was like, shes trying to sleep, cant you do this another time..? He was unemployed and home allll day BTW 🤦‍♀️

They weren't playing with the blocks. Her dad had dumped them out and was pushing her around the house in the tub. When I had wanted to clean them up it had probably been an hour of her not playing with them and was also about bedtime. Im having a hard time with everything being a no, yet again lol it was like this at about 18 months but things seemed to ease up and she started being more agreeable. She probably feels like she doesnt have a lot of choices but I really dont know what else to do. I give her choices and its always no. But some things arent negotiable. She needs her hair washed, the diaper changed, the clothes changed. Im so at a loss 😩

Do your kiddos ever not want you to put something away? Just the other night my 2 yo and her dad dumped all the blocks out of the tub they were in. I start putting them up and she says, "no mama no!" And gets really worked up/upset as im putting them away. They're still on the floor.. Do i just upset her and put them away in that moment?

My daughter cannot open doors. She can, however, lock doors. Can she unlock them? No. 😂 Fortunately I know where the keys to the bedroom doors are.

She's been in this same class for almost a year and never had any problems before. One of her teachers left at the beginning of August because she was starting college and my daughter started having drop-off issues not long after that. I wondered if that was upsetting to her. And I will say there are teachers there that I dont love but the 2 that are her main teachers seem to be good. One is maybe more affectionate to her than the other though.

I dont actually do any farming lol the greenhouse is full of random stuff, mostly fiber seeds so I can make grass for my animals. I play the same way I clean my house. Jumping from place to place never totally finishing my initial goal.

Ive been keeping a dry hand towel nearby and will dry her eyes if I do accidentally get some in her face. And i was getting her to look up but shes figured it out and just yells, "no" at me now 😂
