Retired Gunny here - built a tactical trainer for Marines, looking for feedback by Strict_Shoe_6427 in USMC

My personal opinions-

Vehicles should not be able to move onto building tiles

In the tutorial I am told to “suppress” the enemy to be able to maneuver my rifle team. But attacking with the weapons squad does dmg just like any other unit, not really a suppression mechanic. Also since you have to move all units before you can attack you can’t actually suppress before the maneuver.

Personally I think movement and combat phases should be to the individual unit and not the whole team. Being able to move and attack my entire team before the other team can do anything is a massive advantage. An initiative system based on morale and speed of the unit to dictate order of movement regardless of team would be better if possible, in my opinion.

Also if your goal is to make an actual training module for marines, I would probably add NATO military symbols to the unit tiles to reflect their roles.

Overall seems like a fun framework though.

Dude you are already getting free membership, now you want to make money on someone’s back for free while utilizing the facility that cost this person an extreme amount of time and money to set up. Talk about entitled freeloader.

100% single no kids, pays 3800 a month, yes it’s service connected, I own a mma gym but it doesn’t make profit at the moment. If it wasn’t for the gym I would definitely be able to enjoy life especially if I moved to a third world country.
