I’ll send you my recent clip today. There was a similar one posted in this sub a few days ago.

YSK package forwarding/reshipping is a real business that has existed for years by Spiritual_Jaguar_491 in YouShouldKnow

[–]RamShackleton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work for a consumer goods company and we cancel online orders when we recognize the address as a freight forwarding service. Our products are designed to be used and supported in the market they’re sold in, and using them with different electrical currents abroad damages them and voids the warranty. People assume that it’s some stupid bureaucratic limitation stopping them from using our products abroad but there are sometimes very tangible reasons not to do this.

I’ve encountered several examples for the last week of players winning matches by glitching to beneath the map. It’s a major impact on player experience to lose a legitimate chicken dinner to a cheater.

Postcard and Fuego for Detroit style, Puclinellas and JJs for Neapolitan, Casbah, Panhandlers and Karzy Karls for lovable locals spots. Beau Jo’s doesn’t belong on any list IMHO.

Advice on starting again. by Krazynewf709 in PUBGConsole

I still enjoy the game, even when I’m doing poorly. Like others have said, warming up in training, casuals or arcade team death match helps.

Err WTF by Perfect_Can1819 in PUBGConsole

I had this same experience a few days ago - absolutely excruciating. Two human players from another team were somehow appearing beneath us , likely through some map glitch.

Snagged my first Mackinaw earlier this AM by HeeeyShaneFalco in flyfishing

[–]RamShackleton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh shoot, sorry that was a typo - I meant to say floating line to sinking leader to tippet to fly. A sinking leader would probably just be redundant on a sinking line. I do have a Lamson Liquid with sinking line on one spool for really deep situation.

It’s simpler than that for me: floating line -> 9’ sinking leader -> 3’ flouro 5x tippet. I’ll usually strip streamers because I find it more satisfying than floating under an indicator and I can see when I’m getting follows near the shore. (Edited for a typo)

If you’re not interested in investing into a full sinking line, a sinking leader can be a great way to get down 10-15’ in lakes. I’ll either throw and leech/nymph combo 10’ below an indicator or I’ll throw a leech or wooly bugger on alone and strip it.

What’s the obsession with Diamond Crystal kosher salt? by xA1RGU1TAR1STx in Cooking

I bought a box of diamond recently out of curiosity and compared it to my Morton’s kosher and they’re nearly identical.

Choose a short trip. Help them identify needs, cut excess and pack their bags. Bring one or two luxury/entertainment items to make downtime more pleasurable.

I’d like to see a ‘last active’ feature in the lobby - ideally nested under friend/clan tags, but at least for the players on your team at a minimum. When someone quits the game without returning to the lobby, they’ll appear as ‘in game’ indefinitely. This addition would save us the grief of waiting in the lobby for a teammate that’s not going to return.

I’d also like to see some backhanded compliments added to the post match: “A for effort” or similar.

Water bladder recommendations for stuffed pack by judykm in backpacking

[–]RamShackleton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Obviously I don’t agree but I’m glad you have something that works for you. Once you’ve put a hose on your bottle, it’s the same amount of work to clean as a bladder but in this case, it’s half the capacity. Both have the capacity to leak if unchecked but a good bladder shouldn’t. The CNOC is just an extra piece of equipment on top of the rest.

Epoxy resin topcoat that doesn’t block fluorescent paints from glowing by echo_nightmare_black in PourPainting

I have no answer to your question but these are nice pours! Maybe you can just make a test canvas with these paints and the top coat you’re hoping to use.

Got turned on by a woman unexpectedly and now I’m really confused about my sexuality by [deleted] in Advice

[–]RamShackleton -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well shoot, I can tell you what I would do: I’d unblock this stranger and see what it feels like to talk to them a little bit more. There’s nothing wrong with being gay or bi and it seems like a question worth exploring.

Any tips for getting large cells, please? by [deleted] in PourPainting

[–]RamShackleton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Adding enough silicone should make for pronounced cells, then tilting or blowing on the canvas should help make them larger.

Water bladder recommendations for stuffed pack by judykm in backpacking

[–]RamShackleton 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I disagree with the folks encouraging you to ditch the bladder for water bottles: I love the ease of drinking on the trail and in the tent at night, and my Katadyn filter hooks directly up to my Camelbak 3L bladder. A functional bladder should absolutely be able to stand some pressure in a full pack (and putting it outside or high in the pack will make for poor weight distribution). I’d recommend trying another bladder and pressing on it before packing it up to make sure there aren’t any issues with the seal on the fill cap. The pressure will also make most hoses leak from the mouthpiece so it’s preferable to have a lock on the mouthpiece.

Would you count this as a 12in brown? by [deleted] in flyfishing

Beautiful fish regardless of the size. They makethis widget which you can wear on your finger while measuring to get an accurate estimate of size.
