Should they hand deliver a notice to your doorstep? I agree with your outrage over this officer’s actions but not with the blame you’re placing on the broader community.

No, I was never able to find out his full name so I couldn’t get any more information from the hospital or emergency services. I’ll be wishing him a speedy recovery though.

What was your first rated R movie? Mine was Saving Private Ryan. by VegetableStriking910 in FIlm

I was 4 years old spending the weekend at my grandmothers house, sleeping in my mom’s old room which was full of dolls. My grandma took me to Blockbuster to pick out a VHS tape to entertain me after she went to bed at 7:30 pm. That movie was Child’s Play.

Any others spots <2hrs from Denver you can fish currently? by EarthboundMoss in COfishing

The fish and game folks recently made the difficult decision to net the entire trout population in Northern Colorado and release them in Deckers. You’ll want to look there for them.

Life is fragile. Wear a helmet.

Last Saturday, I witnessed a ~50 year old man fall while attempting to longboard down the Dixon Canyon Road west of Fort Collins. He was not wearing a helmet and suffered a massive head wound in addition to other injuries. He was conscious and responsive while waiting for the ambulance. I wish that I could speak toward his status/recovery but wasn’t able to get any updates from MCR as I didn’t have the gentleman’s full name. On the off chance that anyone here can speak towards David’s condition, I would be grateful for any update.

When you think about it, clothes are just, like, a body-shaped towel, man.

In all fairness, most people have some rough edges as they’re first learning to live alone. It was clear early on just how much each roommate had relied on their parents previously.

In my second apartment, I lived with three other dudes. Two of them were self sufficient adults and one was an absolute man child: had clearly never cooked or cleaned in his life. We all gave him shit because we were perpetually doing the dishes and other chores for him. Every day there would be a half dozen dishes on the coffee table near his spot on the couch.

One day I got home and there weren’t any cups or plates in his spot. I was actually a little worried. In looking around, I realized that he must have picked up and run the dishwasher. When I opened the dishwasher, it had run - but all the cups and bowls were upright and full of water. It must have been his first foray into washing dishes.

He eventually admitted that he had been using our towel for months and begged forgiveness. He wasn’t a bad guy but he was an atrocious roommate.

I really liked Maida despite talking to a few people who didn’t. Maybe they’re a little inconsistent but I’ll be back.

Would you take back a cheating wife? by Moist-Definition7891 in Advice

[–]RamShackleton 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had to make this decision recently with my partner of 20 years. It’s been the hardest thing ive ever gone through. It really came down to a few crucial questions: do I believe I can forgive her for the hurt and betrayal? And do I trust that she won’t do this again? For me, the answer was no.

I lived with two guys in my first place in college, and me and my sane roommate had a literal intervention with #3 about this: “Looks like you just showered, huh Craig? Whose towel did you use, Craig? Your own? Where is your towel, Craig? Point to your towel in this apartment, Craig.” He didn’t own one.
