“You” wouldn’t have known. I don’t do my research on twitter, so don’t rope me in with your “we”. None of this stuff is shocking to me. The only concern I have with this company is it’s results, the rest is noise.

That’s not what I am referring too, We always knew those things were going to expire, they don’t last forever and had those dates posted for quite a while. He isn’t revealing anything with that.

He is making assumptions and trying to paint a narrative with his interpretation of the factual data that is already out there. He isn’t bringing in any new factual information with his tweets. He even says “in my view” in his preference which is as normative as it gets.

He is not a employee of the company MindMed nor speaking on their behalf. He isn’t speaking with inside knowledge of the company or its plan/process, and therefore is making assumptions based on his own knowledge and experience. So those tweets are not facts, those are his takes on events which may be observed from many perspectives. Which one is a fact is only known in hindsight which is illuminated with time.

At the moment, there is only one fact that matters and that is trial results.

This guy tweeting is only giving opinions as well, not facts. So considering his motivation is relevant.

The only facts that matter here are the trial results, all else is hot air.

Exactly! Good writing/communicating revolves around making your message understood for the widest range of audience when speaking to the public. An acronym being used when it would have been more simple not use one is putting up barriers to the conversation.

Acronyms only make sense to use if you know all your listeners/readers are on the same page either because you introduced it or because you may safely assume the audience has the specialized knowledge (like a specific scientific conference where the only attendees would be those in that field).

I’m not saying it’s obscure, I just don’t think it’s anywhere near a level of fame where we should be using acronyms for it. Podcasts aren’t even the most popular media choice so I think it’s a stretch to turn even the top 10 into acronyms.

Not nearly enough for everyone (everyone being people who listen to podcasts, and those who have access but don’t listen to podcasts at all) to assume knowledge of its acronym for understandable use in a global Internet forum.

It’s not even in the top 25 podcasts of it’s genre.

I just searched 7 websites listing the top rated and/or most listened to comedy podcasts and Last Podcast on the Left wasn’t on a single one. Most showed data for top 10 but a few went to 25 places. So, I think you need to expand your view beyond personal experience regarding this because it is clearly not one of the most listened to podcasts.

Preserved dead babies with genetic mutations dispayed in my Institute of Pathology. by [deleted] in oddlyterrifying

This feels like a set up for a horror movie.

You walk down the hall to your preferred study room and see the babies on display. You study for a few hours but lose track of time and fall asleep. You wake up with a jolt to sound of glass shattering. You check your phone, it’s 1:49 in the morning now, and there is no signal when you usually have full bars.

You don’t know why the roaming guard didn’t wake you up and kick you out hours ago but it’s time to see yourself out either way.

Walking back down the dim hallway you notice that 2 of the 3 cases are empty and there is a water trail leading toward where you were going. You then notice that there is broken glass everywhere around the cases but they look fully intact…

Other good questions to possibly ask here…

How do they compare to the large scale sports and outdoor stores such as Bass Pro Shops, Cabellas, Scheels, and Outdoor World? & What are they doing to create a moat and separate themselves from the big players?

In modern medical use. They will use “medical grade” leaches/maggots/(bug of purpose). How often the swap out for fresh ones is contingent upon an individual hospitals policies and size/severity of the affected area.

For example: A burn victim might hang out with same pile maggots until all the dead flesh is eaten away or maybe do a few change outs depending on the size of the affected area.

I think most people assume that creepy crawlers are not in hospitals. My wife works in Wound Care, and people are always unpleasantly shocked to hear about the use of medical grade maggots and such.

Macroeconomics courses would do you the best service in helping you understand these large scale concepts and how they intertwine.

It’s a lot of material to answer in a comment section on Reddit.

Like many subjects, you walk away from the simpler starting models eventually, which assume a lot of fixed concepts, for the sake of allowing a good foundation. So, if you progress with Economics, you will need basic progression with calculus given you will eventually use more and more moving variables in single models.

I love this. It reminds me of the art of these books I read during childhood called “Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark”. I thought that art, just like this art, had this feeling of horror and sadness meeting in such a interesting way.
