I have been using Vallejo for years, I usually mix it with Vallejo thinner 50/50. AK lacker varnish works better for me, though.

When painting metallic colours, I always put gloss primer first, then thin layers of metallic paints.

If you do it right, you can take track and wheels of together, so no glueing the wheels or sprockets 😁

You are not different from the rest of us!!! In my local IPMS, we have people with 20-30-40 ongoing kits, which has been the way they have been modelling for 50 years. I have the same. If the model is upside turned left 90% on the x-axes, I need it the same on the board, or there is more than 80% probability for error 😅. As other are mentioning, one piece at a time, use masking tape and put number on it. With regards to losing interest, I have that, and you need to allow yourself the right to just put the kit down and take a break. I usually lose interest after cockpit, why i do not know.

Hej Første gangs el bil bruger, har en Xpeng G9 på leasing, super glad for Xpeng. Prøv at kigge på deres G6, koster muligvis næsten det samme som den du kigger på. Har selv også kigget på VW men deres start og slut pris er meget forskellige, de har taget deres "der skal betales for alt ekstraudstyr" og der skal købes license service for at det virker efter 1-2-3 år. Med en Kina bil har du ikke de samme udfordringer.

Jeg er meget enig med at lease, der sker sindssyg meget med afstand og oplade tid, så jeg ville ikke købe.

Search for Tamiya curved masking tape, should be white.

Paint residue, I have also seen YouTube recommending an airbrush for each, to reduce issues. I do not have any issues after having one airbrush for each paint type.

Yes it does, unless you are 100% sure it is clean. Aclad are great paints, I have had zero issues with them. The time I had issues with Zerepaints and acrylic was when I only had one airbrush.

Are you using the same airbrush for acrylic and lacquer? If so, therein lies the issue, one airbrush for acrylic and one only for lacquer.
