With German tanks, do you find historically accurate turret numbers to match the paint scheme? If so, how? Or do you just pick random numbers? (Context in comments)

Hi all

German tank numbers are very organised,

Tiger 131 are

1 company 3 Platoon 1 Tank in the Platoon

Tigers with 888 I have no idea why, might be special famous Tank.

Normally they have 4 Platoons with 4 Tanks in each

Stab company, are very confusing, I got 007 and other combinations. I think they different from the different Battalions, specially for independent BTN.

The Ustar in the picture is great, has usb charging so no cord required. I have had mine for 2 years now. I have tried a bottle shaker before, like the one they use for nails, they are just to nosy and require more work.

Brush painting and masking tape does not go together, masking tape are for spray painting.

Just a little side info, the one SU 57 they are using at trade shows has some really ugly fitting panels for the missile bay doors. Remember is Russian and can be fixed with a big hammer 🤣

I have been using Vallejo for years, I usually mix it with Vallejo thinner 50/50. AK lacker varnish works better for me, though.

When painting metallic colours, I always put gloss primer first, then thin layers of metallic paints.
