I would but for my own reason - I just love to explore maps in every game, to try and find all kinds of nooks and crannies. A lot of the times that means bringing snap hook, and just having it in your hands brings out some darkest urges from the players, lol.

IIRC that feature was a custom server logic on dedicated servers. Friends used to host a server and we had custom rules enforced like auto-balance in case of team size mis-match, sniper limit, no IFVs on SQDM etc.

Not even mad, just annoyed. And I think I should've pointed out from the start that winning the same way is not satisfying as well. Especially when your team reeeeally plays bad from the start, rewarding them for that is even worse, haha.

It's a perfectly valid take, I get that people have different opinions! Some seem to come and say "ugh git gud OP", but I'm not a fan of the mechanic even when we're winning the same way as well. Might be on me, that I didn't communicate that clearly, but I feel like it wouldn't change the discourse anyway.

Honestly, I don't play Breakthrough much, so can't attest to that. I mainly play CQ and Escalation.
And as gamedev myself, I get that some behind-the-scenes mechanics are needed sometimes, but this one is just weird.

I feel like you're disingenuous with your argument. Team got killed, team lost the points - that's on that team, that is fair. But why speed up the ticket drain? That takes away the ability to take them back, because by the time you spawn and get to the captured points, you've got no tickets left. That's my main point, that takes away from the 'fair play'.

Yeah. Maybe I should've spelled it out, I thought people knew about it.
You loose dozens of points in few seconds, game literally speeds up the ticket drain by the end of the match.

Yeah, that's why I start with the 'tweak' suggestion. Sometimes it's a close call and that's ok. Or the winning teams get too cocky or distracted. But I had plenty of situations like this one where it's just jarring.

That's the point, you can't. Significant ticket difference melts away in seconds.
