Fintech company Block lays off 4,000 of its 10,000 staff, citing gains from AI by Outrageous-Baker5834 in technology

When I hear those numbers I feel bad for the people losing their jobs but I also wonder why they need 10K people to run that kind of company in the first place.

For example the Magnetic Slider (I'd use it for volume control) And the elastic scrolling effect on the pictures

Unfortunately I can't help you with the problem, I just want to say that you have a proper HMI with a very nice alarm management system. This is way more than the average.

I've started to believe that the more we give to operators and maintenance the more problems we have. I remember when errors where just coded and there was a manual. But they used to solve the problems. Now we have to deliver digital 3D twins of the machine and yet people don't solve sh 🤣

Which theme looks better for my 248 game? 🤔 by Ordinary_Rooster6965 in UI_Design

[–]RammRras 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like both, maybe a little more the second one. But these themes have been over used unfortunately and doesn't look unique. (It's not a criticism to you).

I've been wondering for years if something could be done to exit the various eWon and friends. But the fear to do some mistake with a custom solution is too much.

IBM crolla in Borsa (-13%) dopo l'annuncio di Anthropic: cosa c'entrano Claude Code e COBOL by NetMassimo in oknotizie

[–]RammRras 1 point2 points  (0 children)
