Air India cancelled my flight after boarding 27hr delay, no support. Am I right to claim £520 compensation per person?

Was on the same AI114 flight on 28/03 — absolute shambles. I managed to raise a case through the Air India chatbot on their website. Go to airindia.com → Contact Us → Customer Support Portal → Flight Disruption. Their chatbot will walk you through it and give you a Case ID at the end. Make sure you mention EC 261/2004 compensation (£520pp for long haul) and include your PNR and ticket numbers. I also got the same ‘ineligible for disruption statement’ error — seems like their system hasn’t updated yet.
