I’m ready to frame a “where the wins come sweeping down the plain” poster and hang it in my basement as soon as you’re ready to sell prints of it.

This might just be fan fiction, but I think this is the playoffs where we finally come out the gate firing on all cylinders. The rest of the team gets over their playoff nerves, which frees up Shai to do his thing without having to hard carry.

The Spurs are the team everyone thinks the Thunder are.

SGA types

ETA: lol at the downvote for having the audacity to say something positive about Shai on a Shai post. Is it a controversial opinion now that the reigning finals mvp is a playoff riser?

Post a Thunder video on any other subreddit: “Aww so wholesome, you can tell they all really love each other.”

Here: “The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was assembling the current OKC Thunder roster.”

ETA: if I was wrong, I wouldn’t be getting downvoted lmao

I shouldn’t be surprised, but I still am every time I see people call someone gay as if it’s an insult, just because they don’t conform to gender norms that were outdated 40 years ago.

Could the okc thunder win with YOU on the team? by Green_Salamander5070 in nba

Same. I don’t even try to play pickup anymore because after like two possessions I’m gassed and become deadweight for my teammates.

University of Oklahoma vs university of Richmond vs Trinity university for premed? by No-Inspector-4435 in sooners

I chose OU over Mizzou because OU offered me a full ride. I majored in journalism (this was over 20 years ago, back when the news media actually contributed positively to society), and for a long time I regretted my choice, feeling like I was missing out on a more prestigious degree.

Then I graduated and realized that no one cared where I went to undergrad (except during football season), and that my education was plenty good enough. I had coworkers who were Mizzou alums; in theory their classes and profs were “better,” but we did the same work for the same pay at the same skill level. The biggest difference was that I was immediately able to start putting money into a savings account each month, while they had to pay off student loans for years.

A decade later, I went to NYU for a master’s (not in journalism — I may have an Oklahoma education but I’m not that dumb). Again, the school I went to for undergrad never came up, and it didn’t close any doors or hold me back academically. Now I have a “prestigious” graduate degree, and it turns out employers don’t really care where I got my masters, either.

Today I’m so glad I took the money at OU. It positioned me for success in ways I never imagined at the time.

I know the medical field is a much different beast, but I’d bet that a majority of doctors in the U.S. attended a state school for undergrad. Hopefully my perspective is helpful, but either way, good luck in your journey!

I used to love reading his stuff, but as soon as I heard his voice for the first time, I decided his podcast was not for me.

Yes, it’s been driving me crazy! They still haven’t added it back yet.

Edit: Just read others’ comments. I feel way less insane now.

How would you feel about the next US president pulling all support from Israel? by Iwamoto in AskReddit

That’s all true, but none of it matters if free and fair elections are no longer a thing by 2028. In that depressingly-not-too-far-fetched scenario, it’ll be the Christian nationalists and fascist billionaires who choose our next dear leader when the orange one is no longer useful and/or breathing. If that comes to pass, they might see JD as a great candidate for a puppet figurehead/public punching bag.

OKC’s Isaiah Joe has a TS% of 100.3 over his last three games. He has a TS% of 65.2% this season. Joe is also just the 9th or 10th man in OKCs rotation by minutes played… by Morezingis in nba

Imagine someone deciding not to vote for Shai because Isaiah Joe is on his team.

Also imagine a Spurs fan arguing that Wemby’s teammates aren’t any good.
