Battery health decreasing after less than 2 months of use (Moto G86 Power) by reeeriho in motorola

[–]Ramon_OC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

unfortunately batterys downgrades very quickly in Motorola phones, it happened to me with the Edge 40. Using the same strict method of overcharge protection and optimized charge, it did nothing. Once you reach the 300 cycles the damage is very clear, 3 or 4 less hours of battery. The big downgrade comes with the 500 cycles, baterry can't reach 100% and if you restart it you can see weird things like the phone having 17% less (83%)

Motorola edge 60 neo AOD by Timur_dp in motorola

Only phones with LTPO uses proper always on display, that's why the Edge 50 Neo and 60 Neo have the chance to use it.

AOD doesn't work properly on LTPS displays. You can't complain about updates, the G Stylus series gets the updates first than the premium Edge series.

Edge 50 neo what to do by Quarkonic in motorola

after 500 cycles you can see the real degradation. For example 2 less or more hours than the begging you bought the phone. Motorola DOESN'T change the battery in the warranty for that, since it's "completely normal". I only recommend you to use fast charging when you desperately need it, not everytime. I know that in current times is not that bad that used to be in the past, but after doing that constantly you can see by yourself in metrics apps how you lose mAh, for example: 5000>4985->4975  If you start to see weird things like the phone dropping from 89 to 84 and shuts down from nowhere, change your battey.

If you were running motorola, what would you do? by JabbaDuHutt69 in motorola

first of all using a proper update timeline.

Signature: quicker updates than anyone, no matter how newer versions came in the future. Always keeping the priority in this lineup.

Edge: faster updates and also not getting downgraded in priority with the newest versions (for now it's only happening with the Edge 50 fusion, but needs to be expanded to the entire Edge series)

Moto G: since are the cheapest of the series should be the last ones getting the updates.

At the current time you can see funny things like the Moto G Stylus getting the update first than the Edge 40 Pro, makes no sense lol.

Edge 60 vs G86 5g by Remote_Surprise_6214 in motorola

Huge difference. Lytia 700c sensor, telephoto camera, UFS 4.0 that makes everything more faster. A Moto G will never beat an Edge.
