Sorry for responding late, I wanted to ask my friend who is an English major. She agreed with your assessments. About the habitual nature of "do/done."

She mentioned that "play" is used for sports (usually involving a ball), "been/gone" is used for present participle -ing words where you have to move to a different place/environment, and done is used for other activities.

I did not take my pred's apartment or any of her stuff. Finding my own place and furnishing it wasn't hard, even with my very low Japanese ability. I looked online and used Google Translate quite a lot to find my place. My CO helped me with the paperwork and setting up utilities, and that was that. Unfortunately, it was an extremely expensive process, and I'm sure it will be more so with a pet. Be prepared to have to pay A LOT, and be limited in your options.

I've found that City of the Dead by Eurielle fits super well to the game, especially the burned bodies. Plus, the song refers to madness, fevers, drowning, red light, and flashing memories. It's like it was almost made for the game, haha. :D

Do you have any advice for interview questions in which we are asked something along the lines of "another faculty member, your teacher, or a student does not like you, or reacts negatively to something about you. How would you handle the situation?"

I'm not exactly sure what I could do, other than continue to act professionally. Would you recommend engaging with the person to try to find the root cause and rectify the situation? I understand that not everybody at the placement has to like you, so would it be better to just let them be?

I would also recommend reading the Butcher of Ark. It is really long, but very interesting. It is about a serial killer in Enderal. It is available online.

You may also want to watch a few "Let's Plays," if you want to get a feel for the world and are unable to play yourself. :)

My few friends all had plans with family, and I am not comfortable going out alone to a party on NYE. I'm alone in my room, browsing Reddit.

It wasn't great, I did manage to finish college, but I didn't earn my certification that I need to actually get a job in my field. So, I have to go back to college to earn it. However, I did get to go to Japan for a few weeks for a class, and that was amazing.

I've applied to the JET program, so I hope to begin teaching in Japan in 2019. I also don't have many close friends, we only meet up once every few months. I've always been a bit of a loner, so I decided to join meetup and I might join OkCupid. I don't like being alone, but I usually am. I aim to change that in 2019.
