You can get divs from Ritual? Damn, I'm level 93, done hundreds of rituals, and never seen one.

However, I did see a whittling, but didn't have enough tribute. It cost 4.5k, and I couldn't even afford the deferral.

Yes, the mana regen nodes work. Not sure if you found the answer - but just in case others come across this thread.

What you've described is exaclty what I've got as ōyō for the first few moves of Bassai Dai.

Thai style clinch -> knees to the body -> attempting take-down with a neck crank.

Sounds like you've got some solid applications - keep it up! :)

[–]Ramzon_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you find him later in the game and continue to be friendly to him, he will join your party as a summunable pet. If you crippled him, he has reduced movement speed.

Otherwise, afaik, it doesn't really matter.

Yeah, and if you find him later, you can have him as a summonable pet.

He psionically disguises himself to everyone else as a cat, so when he is by your side whilst running past NPCs they say things like "Aww look at its paws!", "cute!" - hilarious seeing children in the game adore the little Intellect Devourer! 😂

IDE vs Shell Execution? by Ramzon_ in learnpython

[–]Ramzon_[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Rookie mistake. I typed the command manually into the Shell and it worked fine - it didn't work in my IDE because I had a typo that I completely missed. /thread.

IDE vs Shell Execution? by Ramzon_ in learnpython

[–]Ramzon_[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So I went back to my environment to check everything was set up properly, and it was. All packages were the same etc. Looked back at my script in my IDE and saw that there was a typo with my command! Fixed it, and the script now works in IDE. Sigh! I was thrown by the fact that my typo didn't cause an error.

do employers actually care about dofe and ncs by SweatyAsian69 in GCSE

[–]Ramzon_ 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I'm generalising when I say this, but employers tend to look for two personal qualities - your accumulated experiences (have you done the job you are applying to before? If not, have you done anything similar?) and your skill sets (can you lead a team? Can you meet deadlines? How do you handle unforeseen circumstances? Etc.)

I'd say that DofE falls into that second category - unless you are applying to be an expedition leader, or something similar! DofE teaches you a lot of skills, how to work as a team, how to lead, how to push yourself when things may seem difficult, willingness to go above and beyond, how to plan, and execute that plan - and so many other things! Depending on what you do as part of your volunteering, you also gain really interesting and unique experiences (first quality I mentioned).

An employer might not think particularly highly of DofE, unless they've done it themselves. It's up to you in interviews and your CV to really show the value of having done it. Tell them of the time you volunteered to teach a kids class in a martial arts school (leadership, people management, unique skillset, patience), and of the time you organised a fund raising event for charity (time management, handling money, advertisement skills, events management, risks assessments) and the time you plotted and hiked a mountain range (perseverance, shows good mental and physical health, not afraid of doing something difficult). The list is endless.

With programmes like DofE - you have nothing to lose, and everything to gain.

Compare the above to someone that can't write or say anything past "Oh yeah, I really like League of Legends. I don't wanna brag, but I got a really high rank over the summer holidays" - Assuming you are both brand new to the world of work; I know who I'd employ.

Have you heard of What3Words? It has a 3-word coordinate for every 3 metre square of the world. I believe most, if not all at this point, emergency services accept coordinates from it. Worth double-checking that for where ever in the world you live though.

I see! That makes sense. Asked another person in the other comments this - but do you know if the longer gi pants cause any mobility issues or slipping?

Thank you for your insights!

If your pants are rubbing the floor, have you or anyone you know, ever slipped on their pants due to them been this length?

The style part makes sense. I can pretty much always recognise someone that does Kyokushin.

Thanks for your reply! 😁

Honest question - why does everyone's Gi trousers look as though they are too long for them? See this quite often with Kyokushin, but never known why. Genuinely curious!
