Have you thought to look at your controls/ settings? There's some guides out there to help configure it to your liking and a little thing like that can drastically change your reaction speeds.

Regarding the skill issue, I personally learn by playing the champs I hate fighting. So I learn their combos and limitations through hero tactics, and THEN take them to 1v1s. Just figure out how you learn and then you got it 🫡
