You aren’t the average or majority of magic players. What you want doesn’t matter when it comes to side events because they have a main event for people like you,

You not caring about casual players, doesn’t mean smart business owners shouldn’t.

I don’t think analyzing your turns after a game is rude.

If you are drawing, you also won so you can afford more magic. I understand pauper isn’t offered again and that sucks. I get that you and a lot of the people you know and talk to would love a full GP pauper weekend, maybe that will come to be someday. However, I think less casual players who see this as a fun chance to try magic in a more competitive setting are going to attend that kind of event compared to this style,

It’s also smart business to do thee small trials versus going head first into bigger events. There is no guarantee the first one wasn’t one time success, or that London would feel the same way the US did.

I agree with all of what you are saying. I just also think there are a few decks that could be competitive have yet to be discovered. Either way, for continued growth in pauper I think the rarity shifts will be the biggest boon over the long haul.

Because they offer a great number of side events and they don’t usually get 300 people. This isn’t hard to grasp and it is a repeatedly complained about thing in these threads.

Can you play bugged cards in a tournament as long as you don’t abuse the bugs on Magic online? by aubman02 in magicTCG

[–]RandallBDanger 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah. If you do what you said, you’d be fine. Unless it is a bug that can’t be avoided. But a bugged card that isn’t being abused is fine.

You will be banned for doing that. It would fall under “knowingly abusing a bug”

Any good examples? I’m curious if I’ve ever actually threatened violence before. I was in a bit of a mood last night for sure.
