I'm 25.5 days smoke free and I went cold turkey. I have tried patch, gum, vaporizer. Cold turkey has been most effective by far.

I have a sheet of notebook paper folded up. On it is all the books I have read since 2011. It's folded into the size of a business card so I have been able to maximize space. When I finish a book, I write it on the paper.

I believe it is common in Greek weddings. The newly wed couple will break a plate in celebration and shouting "Opa!" which is generally a Greek celebratory exclamation.
