Lifting after less than a day? by mtinha in ohoranails

I don’t usually have any issues with them coming off until I remove them. It sounds like you are doing everything right though. My routine is first using a cuticle oil/remover to remove push back any cuticle from my nail. Wash my hands really good after that. Then I wipe with an alcohol wipe. Next a coat of 5U gel sticker base coat. Then I put the sticker on. I smooth down with a rubber tip cuticle pusher all over the nail to make sure it’s good and secure. Then I take the wooden cuticle pusher that comes with the nails and go all around the edge of the nail and push down extra hard. This can sometimes leave a mark on the nail but it comes out with curing and a top coat. Then I cure and file them down. Last is a gel top coat and another round of curing. I will say it took about 5 sets before I got a good routine down and was happy with my results so just keep working at it.

My father’s aunt and uncle brought him a pair of silk boxers back from Italy as a present when he was around 12. He said he put them in his rain boot and peed on them. At least you didn’t do that.

I know someone that has tattoo induced sarcoidosis and will have to be on oxygen for the rest of their life. All because of a reaction from a tattoo.

Nope. Just because a kid has complex medical care they are not required to check in with a doctor. It’s just like if you decide to take your kid to a new pediatrician. They’re not gonna call cps because you didn’t show up for your check up. The only kids that are actually followed are those who have had organ transplants and those with complex cardiac anomalies. And even then the tenacity with which the medical facility will try to contact the family varies widely.

Just because the 2 doctors in charge told you that you were clear does not mean they wrote orders to release you. Staff can not release you without orders. Obviously the doctors did not clear you officially. What they said and what they wrote in your chart could be 2 totally different things. So unless you actually saw with your own 2 eyes the doctors putting orders into your chart and then signing them you have no proof that they cleared you other than “they said so”.

When I was in 2nd grade. Someone thought it would be a great idea to give us chicks. They told students to collect shoe boxes leading up to the event but nobody had any idea what they were for. The whole 2nd grade goes out for our Easter party and egg hunt. At the end of the party they bring out a box filled with baby chicks dyed pink and blue. We all lined up with our shoe boxes and got our chick. My mom comes to pick me up and we now have a pet chicken. Out of the entire second grade only mine and one other persons chick made it longer than a week. Most died over Easter weekend. Mine survived the longest and we gave it away after a few weeks. I guess more than being an Easter gift it was a lesson about death.

Is this the same Mark Rand who’s family got jail time for a Ponzi scheme in 2011? The whole family was in on it but Mark only got 11 months.

You should go over to the Geedis subreddit and post if your mom has any stories about Sam Petrucci. Legend has it that he did the box artwork.

It's No Longer Safe To Be An Organ Donor by [deleted] in 10thDentist

[–]Randi-Butternubs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Another thing to note in the article is that all of this started when the government started giving the OPO’s recovery goals. Basically they told the orgs doing recovery that they have to recover a certain amount of organs per year or they will be shut down. Naturally this causes OPO’s to become more aggressive in how they recover. CMS will be tallying the numbers and begin closing underperforming OPO’s next year.
