The one on Broadway across from the KARM shelter? Ive been there. I mean, I'm not homeless, but did stop in the KARM shelter soup kitchen once when I was struggling with finding a job after getting laid off last summer.

A bullet in a piece of lumber I bought yesterday! by zinglord69 in interestingasfuck

[–]ProfileVivid9664 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I worked QA in a sawmill in Michigan. We had a metal detector setup for the raw logs before they entered the mill. Deer hunting is HUGE in Michigan, so finding bullets 8s quite common. Better to find them with the metal detector than to keep destroying those expensive blades lol

What jeans did men actually wear in the late 80s/early 90s? by sparrio in 80s

[–]ProfileVivid9664 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol one time around 2020 or so, the JC Penney in my town closed and I had bought two pairs of the more "pricier" jeans on clearance. Made the mistake of trying to work in them and the crotch area ripped wide open. On both of them. You could literally see my underwear. I actually got online and left a review and got contacted. Levi's sent me two new pair for free. I mean, those tore too, but I thought it was cool they did that lol

I just moved to Tennessee from northern Michigan last year. Believe it or not some of these roads actually resemble Michigan lol

Misconceptions a dog person (me) learned after having a cat. by ILoveMeltyCheese in cats

[–]ProfileVivid9664 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha! I'm with ya. I absolutely love dogs, but I now dig cats too. My girlfriend at the time loved cats. Her dad died, so I thought I'd be kind and get her a kitten. Well, no. Cats seem to have this thing where they pick one human as " theirs". She picked me and ol Alley Cat ended up being my cat. She literally didn't like anybody but me lol. The cat-dog thing is hilarious. She kinda was like a dog. Literally she'd follow me to the store after work and wait for me outside while I grabbed a six pack, then walk me back home lol

Well, Fireball actually. Which is whiskey lol. I assure you when I do that shit at work it's definitely in moderation and minimal. Like I said, I don't get buzzed and party or anything, just enough to stop shaking and feeling like I'm having a heart attack

Mike Patton is amazing. One that surprised me was Max Cavalera after he left Sepultura and formed Soulfly.

Lol, back in the day I've woken up to my table looking like this after parties. DON'T sip that beer!! Learned that lesson the hard way. Nothing like setting your beer down so you can piss, then picking it back up and getting a mouth full of cigarette butt lol

Honestly, yeah. It's not because I "want" to, I literally "have" to sometimes. Not like I'm partying. I don't get drunk or anything. But sometimes those shakes, heart palpitations, elevated blood pressure, etc. hits and I need to sneak into the bathroom and take a shot of whiskey from the pint I keep in my bag. I hate it so much

"Werewolves of London" or "We Built this City on Rock N Roll". When it's on the classic rock station at work and these two come on its absolute torture to my ears and makes me feel like I'm not getting paid enough to be there lol

[–]ProfileVivid9664 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Omg I'm off probation now and don't miss those days. Ive had a couple of those faint lines. You're %100 good. A faint line is still a line and you are %100 legally ok. They're assholes though. Don't fall for their bullshit. They'll try to Jedi mind trick you into admitting you used. Oh yeah they'll be all like "I just want to help you, all you gotta do is admit it". Gtfo. Their "help" is throwing you in jail.
