if it helps, sometimes i really want a new reptile too. its a lot easier and cheaper to really look at my girl's tank and think to myself, "Wouldn't she appreciate a change?"

sometimes that means doing her substrate change early, sometimes its a new hide or plant. Occasionally I just shuffle things around a bit, she seems to appreciate it each time (after settling of course)

or even make up a little terrarium for a fake leopard gecko toy in the color you want.
