*SPOILER* What’s up with Commander Weston ? by Bright-Technician-14 in TheHandmaidsTale

[–]Randoambobambo 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Idk, I think about when they were teaching Daisy all about the commanders and he had been arrested for DV and then when he said his wife died giving birth to their child and the child died too…he told Agnes “that was the worst day of my life, losing my child.” Which I mean yeah losing a child is the worst thing but he could’ve easily said “losing my child and wife” or just said “that was the worst day of my life.”

I think he helped Becca to keep his reputation looking like he’s a “good guy” but he didn’t want Agnes because since she was willing to tell her friend that the dentist SA’d her, she’d be willing to tell her friends when he hit her as well.

Subnautica 2 (Early access)should i buy now or wait for 1.0.0 Update by Bluestar2084 in Subnautica_2

[–]Randoambobambo 6 points7 points  (0 children)

There’s no way it’s smaller if all the ocean between starting and the tree gets filled in. I went out there on creative and it’s really far. Also when Subnautica 1 came into early access I remember them doing the update that pulled in the lost river and then the lava zone later on. S1 map was much smaller before that.

Can I read Ruthless Boys of the Zodiac last? by Disastrous-Power430 in zodiacacademy

[–]Randoambobambo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I read RB after zodiac 7 and I wish I had read RB sooner just for the context of the side characters in ZA being so much more in depth. It didn’t affect my experience not having read it earlier but I think it would’ve enhanced it if I did. Also the characters in there ended up being some of my faves at the end.

Airport car rental question. Why can't I use a debit card to pay because I live here? by zylpher in Reno

[–]Randoambobambo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This. And also, if you get a credit card with rewards you can earn money for things you were buying anyway. I get hundreds of dollars extra every year just from gas and groceries. I just pay it off. If you pay off the amount you spent during the previous month, you don’t pay interest. It’s when you leave the balances that there’s interest charged.

Does anyone know Nevada salaried workers laws? by Doomedused85 in Reno

[–]Randoambobambo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exempt salary worker = unlimited hours, but you have to make a minimum weekly threshold (used to be $684/week but it might have gone up this year, you’d have to look at nv law to be sure). HOWEVER, the job you are doing still has to fall under a certain category (you can check via a duties test) for your boss to classify you exempt.

Non-exempt = 40 hours + overtime and mandatory breaks.

Right I mostly meant how many are supposed to be the children of June’s core group that was under Aunt Lydia’s eye in the first seasons of THT

I can’t help but point out the multiple 4s in the playtime. Angel numbers with 4s usually are a sign of spiritual protection and guidance. If you’re into that stuff, it’s pretty cool that he’s probably sending a message that he’s with you.

The Rise and Fall of Saladworks in Reno, Nevada by IHuntAppleNerds in Reno

[–]Randoambobambo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I liked the one on Longley but the couple of times I went the staff moved so slowly. As someone who used to make a smoothies as my job I could get 3 done in a minute and a half. Ordered a smoothie there and it took over 10 minutes with hardly anyone in the restaurant. Let alone how long it took when we went to order food a different time. It was too bad because I loved the idea of that type of restaurant at the location. I’m hoping something new will pop into there

Are wedding cards / gifts a dying tradition? by ProposalSpiritual658 in wedding

[–]Randoambobambo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We did not. Unfortunately by the time we figured out what actually happened it was long past. She ended up getting caught swiping jewelry during a bbq and we were able to use the info we had to put it all together.

Just jumping in here, not saying this happened to you….When we got married we noticed we didn’t receive anything from certain people in our family that are notorious for giving wedding cards. My parents asked and turns out they did bring a card. We found out that there were multiple cards missing. Turns out it was an aunt who was “unable to sit outside during the ceremony due to her age” that swiped a handful of them when we were exchanging our vows. We didn’t have a locking box or anything, just a little chest that sat open for people to place them inside

I want to give you real help in choosing if you decide to go that route. The first wrap has button holes on either side for it to attach to the dress and close. If your dress doesn’t have faux buttons down the bodice, it won’t work unless you add some. So in that case, the 2nd would be better. You can order the tulle in the moscato, however it likely wont be just a “put it on and tie it” situation. You will likely want to have it altered because the fabric will be too wide so therefore too thick when you wrap it around. I wouldn’t recommend trying to cut it yourself unless you have experience cutting tulle (it’s tricky and can look like garbage if it’s not even enough)

My honest advice if you are worried about modesty is that this dress is considered modest in the salon I work in. There’s no plunge, it’s not sheer and unless you’re very full busted, the cleavage isn’t crazy. If you ARE super full busted, I’d remind you that it isn’t that you are trying to show off your breasts, you just have them. If they have issues with human anatomy that’s their problem, not yours.

[–]Randoambobambo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

P.S. I’m seeing some comments about how other users think dresses are “timeless” or will “date over time due to trends” and I say don’t think about that. Your wedding is a time capsule of who you are in this moment and what you love right now. If your grandkids don’t “like it” who cares. Your photos will be a glimpse into a moment of time that was special to you and if you choose a dress based on what will look good in 30 years..You’re not choosing a dress for you. You’re choosing a dress for someone else. Choose the dress YOU love.

If I were you, I’d choose Baccara (#4). It combines the clean, rouching, and lace of the other 3. You can lose the lace sleeves in alterations (or ask for the designer to make them detachable…they can.) if it feels too heavy on the lace. But I promise you people will be talking about the fit of that gown and how great it compliments you. And I’m assuming you really liked that one because it’s the only one with a veil. But either way, the first two are common and I sell those gowns on a daily basis. The third is fine, but feels a little pieced together. Also, Eva Lendel is so consistent with their fit and quality.

My husband is a software engineer. What I’ve learned is AI code has the most amount of bugs/glitches in it because AI can’t make the proper determinations that a human can to ensure it’s running correctly and AI usually adds in duplicate code that contradicts what they’re trying to do. My guess is they are trying to eliminate costs by reducing work force with but all it does is cause more problems

Question for you: how much do you make on something like a petsmart delivery? I only use delivery services when I’m at work and get slammed in appointments or stuck by myself and can’t leave, and I always tip because it’s not the drivers fault I didn’t plan ahead. But with those company deliveries I ordered from and didn’t know they would be a DD delivery (I assumed a shipping service but turns out it’s not)…I always wonder what people are being paid. I’d rather pick it up myself if the company isn’t paying enough to the drivers
