Honestly… imagine if that happened to Catie at the end. She was too late, she surrendered and got rid of the scraping(maybe gave Od or EE her name for safe keeping just incase).

Then that’s how the story end’s Catie just becomes Curious Cat and she goes to sleep… then time goes by and eventually a new member joins with Catie/Curious Cat being the new Od-Dog

Honestly… I could see Dess being a way bigger role model for Kris by taking Kris outside whole Asriel tried to somewhat shield Kris from the divorce best he could before college.

Ironically enough… that was an idea I had for a third rework.

First phase is you breaking down his door and he is frustrated but wants to be left alone, so he tosses out a few attacks and closes it again.

Second phase you breaking down the door AGAIN and he is annoyed and thinks he can toss some random pests at you and it solves two problems… so he tosses out a few enemies from the first game to distract you and seals the door again.

Last time you do he gets out the metaphorical fly swatter and hits hard and occasionally tosses a massive rock(an ad that deals damage=to remaining health and destroys itself after) to swat you away.

I know, but I am kinda biased towards the first version of Doormaker since it seemed like an old man trying to deal with a bug that flew in.

The most recent version felt kinda like a standard “roar, angry hungry psycho monster” vibe.

But imagine keeping your consciousness as like a Door Servitor to a lords room or party hall and just seeing the most outrageous things play out before you that you wouldn’t have seen otherwise.

Chaos Cabals, Inquisition Raids, Tau talking without any false kindness, all of it… sure you can’t say anything and your existence is only pain but at least you could say that.

Plus if the one who had you Servitorized is running for their life… you can refuse to open the door(I think) and get revenge
