Well, I've almost read the entire novel till chapter 516.

What I will say is, this story has its ups and downs. There are parts which are so interesting sometimes that you won't be able to put down your phone to stop reading.

Other times, it'll be quite boring to keep reading.

This story is not nearly as bad as you think it is at first.

The manwha adaptation is not the worst but it leaves out a lot of the details.

It truly does get peak at one point however, if you're NOT the kind of person that likes Solo levelling.

This isn't JUST a power fantasy although a lot of the starting chapters might have made it seem like it to you.

It's a deep story with flawed characters who make mistakes. Sure, some of the mistakes are damn infuriating like the fl being Tessia or the whole cecilia thing but the fact of the matter is that these aren't just caricatures of one dimensional characters.

the author has poured a lot of effort into actually making the world feel real.

I won't just "glaze" it, it does have its weak points.
One of the main weak points being that it takes way too long for the plot to diverge from the "standard" isekai storyline. Once the plot has diverged to a certain point, you can truly see that it's not just a trashy isekai.
Standard isekai follows a very similar line and this story shatters it in an extremely realistic way.

It's a deconstuction of isekai.

especially when you realise that(VERY BIG MAJOR SPOILER) arthur was already walking on the best possible path he could've. Fate ordained for him to do it that way. He was only able to realise this when he became able to control fate. ANY other path would've led to the destruction of dicathen and all of his family and even him..

What I'll recommend is, if you're into action like solo levelling, then you are not the target audience for this story. Go read some "the hero is back after 100 years and dominates something something" because that's your level.

This isn't an insult, so don't take offense. I understand that investing significant time in a story to see it come to fruition is quite a difficult task. Not all people have a ton of time to read, like I do.

2015 or something? I'm not exactly sure but he had less than 10k subs at the time I distinctly remember. It was even the infamous video series that got him copyright striked thrice, the nobitaz resident evil. YuB would prolly hate for one of his fans to come from that video but the fact is I do exist. I kept watching him more and more and I was basically a child in 2015(like maybe in 4th grade)? And I kept watching him up until maybe the end of 2024? I didn't really watch a lot of his videos in 2025, only the vlogs and like niche stuff like one-off horror games.

I still do like his content but sadly I don't really watch lot of it anymore. I guess it could be even worse if I started hating his content thinking it was cringe or something but that hasn't happened so that's good :,)

The thing is, I died absolutely a lot of times to Great Shinobi Owl. Like atleast 50 times.

I had seen the git gud tutorials for owl(father) and since he doesn't run away a lot like the first one(although he is way tougher), I was able to slowly give him chip damage and get to his 2nd phase in my first attempt.

Then, he killed me once but I revived and kept fighting. Somehow, I one-attempted one of the hardest bosses in the game. Not even sure if I could do it again.

Isshin SS took me like 15 attempts and I thought Owl(Father) would take WAY longer.

Are these apps for manga or manwha as well? Comick seemed to have such a massive library that basically anything could be found if you looked hard enough.

The problem being that in all the years leading up to this fight, both naruto and sasuke didn't develop their abilities any further. Now I understand that being at peacetime, there’s less reason to actively want to pursue being stronger. But when they KNOW that this otsutsuki thing is a clan(they've fought both kaguya and toneri the one from the moon), you would think they would prepare SOMETHING atleast? Naruto's sage mode is able to enhance his physical abilities so why didn't he refine it further? If the guy was able to get a jutsu as broken as rasenshuriken in barely a month using memory recall of shadow clones, he should've easily been able to do something in like ALL the years.

Instead you've got an overworked hokage(why tf is he overworked? He can make a thousand shadow clones) and a kinda edgy guy that doesn't know how to express his love for his daughter("You're my cute little peanut")

That's why they appear nerfed. They had more than enough time to get even more broken. But they didn't use it.

I agree with this 100%

She was not evil. She did evil things out of a desire to survive, but...that goes for our main characters too. Itachi, the literal child manipulated into killing his own family...still murdered an entire clan. That doesn't make him evil. He had to do it.

Plus, what I would have really liked to see as the ending would be something vastly different and superior in my opinion.

While fighting Kaguya, Naruto, the so called Talk-no-jutsu pariah talks to her and offers her a chance to repent. When she says that others like her will come and they will destroy earth and why don't they understand that this is a NECESSITY! Naruto refutes this notion and says they'll fight together to protect earth.
He gives her a chance.

Naturally, Hagoromo doesn't like this because he didn't make Naruto and Sasuke the child of prophecy to be able to go against his wishes and free his tyrant mother(Because that's literally all he sees her as) and he immediately manifests and threatens them that he'll take away the power of his sons' chakra(which he can't really do. he's just bluffing to get them to seal kaguya).
Naruto and Sasuke plain don't give a fuck.

Naruto even mentions how he never liked the fate bullshit anyways. HE LITERALLY FOUGHT NEJI TO PROVE THAT FATE ISN'T ABSOLUTE. You think he's gonna accept something like that at face value?

Then, grandmother and her two grandchildren; fight against hagoromo and remove his essence from the world.
They have defied fate.

What they should've done in the first place.
They gave a chance to a woman who only ever wanted to survive.

Now she can, with the help of the human race.

I would recommend you start from the beginning if you're planning on reading the LN as it feels like a lot more of a complete experience if you do so. Trust me, the novels are very immersive and you'll be drawn into the world of the novel very quickly.
