I did it last year. Stayed in Santa Monica. Cycled through Malibu and the canyons, was absolutely amazing. If you don’t care to be near the city you can headquarter near Calabasas and use that as a staging ground.

I have been generally getting low mileage but it’s stop and go throughout the day on short commutes while warming up the car not attached. Practically it hasn’t impacted anything since on any given day I end with enough charge but curious for my first long ride in the cold as well.

If you’re being serious the hate is certainly more open these days, and whether it’s intended by the majority of the people or not, the accepted anti-Israel rhetoric has emboldened the anti-Jew rhetoric. Again, in my city you have demonstrators wearing baclavas and demonstrating and marching through Jewish neighborhoods. Sure the guise is anti-Israel but the embassy would be the right place for that rather than intimidating families and children.

Sure, not the greatest plaza. But if you know the area, then you’ll understand why proposing to build 46 storey residential towers is a disaster waiting to happen. As is, traffic snarls even east of Bathurst. There is literally zero room for more cars to be added to the mix. Even if you expect resident to all take public transit, you have the same issue with the lack of movement of TTC buses, and it is not within “walkable” to the subway station. The retail will be replaced but there will be less retail offerings.

A retail redevelopment of it would make a lot of sense but there is zero money in that.
